VL Myrsky II - A Domestic Finnish Fighter For The Axis

Shortly before the Winter War, the Finnish Air Force requested for a natively designed fighter to be designed, as importing fighters from other countries would have a significant cost for them, which was further emphasized once the Winter War begun. During this time, designers had been working on what would become the VL Myrsky, which it’s prototype first flew in 1941 a few month after the Continuation war had started. The production of these planes had started as the ‘Myrsky II’ in 1942, which was still long before German would begin sending BF 109s to Finland. All the aircraft of the Myrsky series would continue to be used by the Finnish Air Force up until 1947, where it was retired in favor of more modern aircraft. As for the armament of this plane, it has an array of quad 12.7mm heavy machine guns in the nose with 990 rounds in total, and 2 bomb racks on the wings, of which each could carry the 100 Kg Model 1938 bomb, which has 36 grams of explosive filler, which is as strong as the soviet 100 Kg bombs. I think this could be a pretty unique fighter for BR1 since it’s Finnish, and from a gameplay stance as well, since it has a fairly large supply of ammunition for it’s guns and looks like a decent all rounder.

Only if it gets finnish pilot. I hate when they put british aircraft in american squads and give us planes like IAR 81c and potez without romanian pilots

Event or Premium, put it into the tech tree if they figured out how to do a sub TT (Germany parent TT; Italy, Romania, Finland, Hungary as sub TT)
