That bad military school system was deleted, which is good. But at the same time, the copper card drawing soldiers and retraining points function were deleted, which is very bad.First of all, because I can’t get soldiers through bronze cards, the Tunisian Allied forces that I have not yet started playing are extremely lacking in soldiers. At the same time, I don’t want to obtain first-level soldiers through silver cards, because first-level soldiers are obviously weaker for second-level soldiers. There is no way to upgrade soldiers from level one to level two, so my army is very short of people now. Then, it’s more difficult to re-select skills for soldiers now than in the past, because no retraining points means that you have to use a soldier to fight without skills, and you may not have the skills you want randomly, and then cycle. This process is until I get the skills I want. In the past, using the retraining points I can use the existing skills to fight until I want to change the skills. In addition, it’s worth mentioning that the number of Bronze Cards required to train five-star soldiers is much more than before. It cost me hundreds of Bronze Cards just to upgrade all the members of the two assault squads to Five Stars. , This kind of consumption is too exaggerated.
I suddenly thought of a problem. It is said that the soldiers born in a team of 3 and 9 soldiers on the attacking side of the invasion mode consume the same manpower. If this is the case, the severely lacking troops will waste a lot of manpower. .
For the above suggestions:
Increase the income of the silver card.By the way, I found that the cycle of the battle pass after level 60 becomes an experience bonus card at level 2.The rewards of the two silver cards occupy the other 2 levels. Compared with the past, the silver card revenue is lower.Increase silver card income, otherwise new players will inevitably lack soldiers.
2.Return the retraining points, or allow players to directly choose the skills they want
3.Increase the income of copper cards, or reduce the number of copper cards that need to be spent on rising stars.
4.Soldiers are allowed to upgrade, otherwise low-level soldiers will inevitably be eliminated. Not only do low-level soldiers have fewer attribute points than high-level ones, but their built-in skills are often worse.
It should be obvious that Gajin and DF want to increase revenue. They have 2 options as I see it, cut costs (reduce employees mainly) or increase revenue. It seems like they have decided to gamble that enough players will now buy elite battle pass or premium to offset the players that they will lose.
By just giving F2P players more silver and bronze orders, they might be thinking that this would decrease the pressure to buy extras. Just giving F2P what they want will in no way increase revenue in their minds it seems. There is ZERO chance that this was an “Oops” moment and they had no clue of the impact on F2P players.
The main problem is that even if active players who have purchased premium passes and premium accounts do not rely on past accumulation, they are likely to lack available soldiers. If we look at the current situation, when weapons can only be obtained through silver cards in the future, it is very likely that we can only use the initial bolt-action rifle to fight. That would be too bad.
I only rotate 3 infantry squads usually. Tanks make the most sense to grind XP but I hate using them.
For me, as Axis Normandy for example, I am currently level 16 and am enjoying where my squads are now. I did upgrade all of my 3*. soldiers to 4* in my 3 squads and don’t really see a need for more soldiers in the campaign. As you are aware, we often receive new soldiers as we unlock campaign levels and looking ahead I am fime with that.
And if you take away weapons random feature, you are taking away the chance to get two weapons, and if lucky a Axe, or a pistol, ok if you already have these things, or they going to add them to buy with silver also?, as a newer player may never get these items.
And on silver orders, amount to be gathered, for you add, another soldier to squad, buy weapons, as they come unarmed, then, don’t forget, then they if there lucky and have any bronze, they can then add med kits and at least a grenade to there squads, Until maybe they make Equipment delivery hiked up to silver also.
Could not think of playing game, without every member of squad at least having a med kit, and something that goes bang.
If so, will need more silver to gather for newer players, to at least get them on the battlefield and want to stay there as cannon fodder, and progress, invest.
Would of thought, make it easy, then it gets hard as the game progress, making to hard to get into a game, unless you suffer first, may not help.
my view:
i honestly think this update isn’t so bad.
before the update i dont give a f about perk or soldier level because they’re a pain in the ass to level up (you bring 3 to academy and only get 1 back). So, all my squad dude typically only level 2/3. And i have more than 700 soldier bronze order.
after the update, i have more reasons to use bronze order. Now, all my dudes are level 4. so there’s that.
and i been thinking, isn’t the bronze order needed to upgrade a soldier from level 1 to level 5 is lower than before?
(yesterday: 81 level 1 soldiers needed to get 1 level 5 soldier)
(now: 36 bronze orders needed to get 1 level 5 soldier)
CMIIW
the most impacted from the scarcity of infantry is new player if they didn’t increase silver order drop.
If I was F2P (I just created a 2nd account to test how bad it really is) I would now concentrate on leveling up my squad upgrades and concentrating on 3-4 rotating squads that you upgrade with squad XP and promote soldiers with the bronze orders that you earn. By the time they earn silver orders for more troops, their squads will be in a much stronger position to grind campaign XP. Unlocking new campaign levels that add new squads too quickly will just amplify the need for more silver orders.
Mainly because the second-level built-in skills are generally better than the first-level, so I don’t want the first-level soldiers. The soldiers I use the most are the riflemen and assault soldiers. Obviously, the second-level is much better than the first-level. This is a skill. The difference between useful and useless. However, it is true that there is too much difference between the copper cards required to upgrade the first-level soldier to 5 stars and the second-level soldier to 5 stars.
