Don’t worry. May holidays are coming soon and the USSR will get more. Jesus Christ, man. This happens every year.
In case you’ve forgotten, the last time the USSR received only one PPD with a silencer for the 80th anniversary of Victory Day.
And for Independence Day, the US received two Stinger machine guns.
That’s two weapons. The class of weapon determines nothing. If that were the case the Soviets wouldn’t get anything after the Sichuan Thompson last event and double PPSh-41s this event.
And what did the Allies get for the 80th anniversary of winning the war? A single pistol. That’s just one weapon, and a sidearm at that. The soviets were obviously favoured here.
Airplane and pistol.
You didn’t mention the other rewards of the soviets either. Why should I?
You can mention it yourself.
Soviet faction does not have less event rewards than Axis at all. The form of the rewards can be very different, USSR has often received unique soldiers, decals and vehicle skins.
Its also important to note that just because the diversity of event guns is low does not mean a faction would get less events, it only means that the guns come back as rewards more often.
Take Fedorog rifle 25, Mkb42(M) and Thompson M1921 20 (japan) as an example. 2 of each gun were rewards during 2024-2025 holidays event.
I own 6 of both Fedorov rifle 25 and Japanese thompson because they were event rewards multiple times while Mkb42(M) has never returned even once since it was added to the game.
Have you considered that some of these event squads are from diffrent campaigns pre-merge? Germany participated in 5 campaigns and USSR only in 3. Which means that most of the axis stuff wasn’t even obtainable for a long time, so this comparison isn’t justified at all.
It was so long ago that there’s no point in talking about it. And even so, it doesn’t change anything.
It very much does change things. If we’re purely talking about the amount of Premium or Event content as you do it changes things. A Faction that has nearly twice the campaigns logically has more Premium content, for example weapons that are common but not in that campaign’s TT. For your argument it matters, no matter how long ago, since you chose to draw upon the numbers alone. If we’re talking about a shorter time frame would it not be worse that the Soviets have gotten 80% of Events in the last 3 months?
well, considering that Allies have the most event squads, I would say that the number of campaigns are not necessarily related to the amount of event content.
I was mainly thinking of premiums, like the G41 engineers, tbh.
ohh, that is definitely true though.
The amount of premium squads, legacy squads and especially tech tree bolt-action rifles and BR1-2 LMG/SMGs (none has been added since merge) are very much related to how many campaigns the faction was in.
Why hasn’t there been an update yet? It’s been 92 days since the last one, and the test server isn’t even out. What is Gaijin doing? The new unit mechanics must be holding up the update. I now reasonably suspect that the issue is with the new unit’s ability to strip clothes off dead enemy soldiers on the ground, which is causing the delay.
I think it’s a complete waste of time focusing on this new unit; we’d be much better off getting the major update released earlier.
This doesn’t change anything. The US has the most event content, followed by Germany. The USSR Faction has the least content. Japan has very little. Demanding anything fo Germany under these circumstances is nonsense. Especially when the event is about copypasta, not unique content.
Is there really anyone here who can think?
I would’ve been happy if it was a new map than whatever junk this is not gonna lie…
this is now my second most liked post on the forum.
It has 3x more likes than the official post… Give us non-biased worthwhile events Gaijin.
There is a clear dissatisfaction with the current event.
