On March 16, 1945, the Red Army launched an offensive from western Hungary towards Austria in order to capture Vienna.
From March 16th (13:00 UTC) to March 22nd (13:00 UTC), you can get rewards for completing tasks.
Rewards
For completing 6 out of the 12 tasks, you will receive a unique PPS-42 (Red), and for 8 and 10 completed tasks, a unique PPSh-41 “Award”!
Tasks
Phase 1 (March 16th - March 18th):
Destroy 4 vehicles.
Kill 100 enemies.
Kill 30 enemies with headshots.
Complete 4 battles.
Phase 2 (March 18th- March 20th):
Kill 60 enemies using a submachine gun.
Kill 50 enemies using a vehicle.
Kill 10 enemies using grenades.
Complete 4 battles.
Phase 3 (March 20th - March 22nd):
Kill 60 enemies using a machine gun.
Kill 60 enemies using a bolt-action rifle or a semi-auto rifle.
Build rally points and deploy APCs that will be used 30 times.
Complete 4 battles.

During the event the following squads will also temporarily return to the shop for Gold:
106th Mixed Tank Regiment “Clausewitz” with MG 45 (Germany, BR IV)
III./JG 51 with Bf 109 F-2 (Germany, BR II)
521st Fighter Aviation Regiment with LaGG-3-34 (USSR, BR I)
26th Guards Infantry Regiment with Fedorov MG (USSR, BR IV)

The tasks can be completed in the Squads mode.
The list of tasks is updated every two days at 13:00 UTC.
Tasks can be completed simultaneously.
Uncollected rewards will disappear when the tasks change.
From March 22nd (13:00 UTC) to March 24th (13:00 UTC), after the end of the event, you will have the opportunity to purchase any missing rewards for Gold.

Another pointless slop event that once again forgot to give every involved nation representation.
Come on, there are other nations than the USSR in the game, stop giving only USSR rewards in every mini event. Did you know that in a battle there are two sides??? Give the player an option to choose between 2 different reward options, depending on which nations are fighting, this should be common sense.

As for the event—why another reskinned gun? Why not something actually good? The RedPPS isn’t even the Stalingrad version. The small events are just lazy, the rewards are tiny and boring, it’s annoying. Where’s the MKB42/35 or the Thompson?

when such squads were introduced, they weren’t this pricey ( 1000 / 2000 EG less )
and when the merge released, due to some being redudant and others for " value " were removed from the store and occasionally return in the store with an increased price every couple of years.
There are a long list of guns that have not returned in an event for more than a year, you could always just throw one of these in to make everyone happy.
