Also at least on the test server ppsh 41 parkerized is called ppsh 41 “award” in killfeed

For anyone wondering what the real differences are between the award and parkerized I put them side by side and pointed out a couple things. It ain’t much very subtle.
Also note that the Parkerized is not zoomed in more than the “award” photo that’s how it is in game. For whatever reason the parkerized draws the camera much further towards the rear sight.

I have to say, even though this event is for the Soviets, the rewards they got aren’t that great. In fact, they’re probably complaining about why it’s their turn instead of giving Germany two white MP40s.
Now we’ll just have to see which nation gets the next event. If it’s just another gold-plated or silver collectible pistol for some other country, DF deserves to be criticized. If the next nation gets good weapons like the MP41(R), then from a certain perspective, the Soviets getting this event just feels like a loss and a half-hearted effort.
Just got it and you were wrong, it is the buffed 6.9 dmg one. Definitely worth getting.

As far as I’m aware, there were two versions in the past, the one with more damage is the “stalingrad” one, I think, from the campaign
I’m on pc, already had 2 pps red, now I have 3.
They are the same ones with 6.9 damage

Thats why a totally OP chinese squad with a poorly made weapon dominates BR3 matches. And yes, USSR got ANOTHER laser gun with 1000+ rof. Chinese soldiers in Berlin, Moscow and Stalingrad - should I say more?
Thats why from 4 events, 3 went for the USSR fraction.
Vienna offensive. They fought against ghosts I guess, so no german (or hungarian, italian, finish or what ever) weapon or squad. Nothing. Just 3 laser guns for our beloved russian (and chinese) friends.
Two days ago I noticed that the AS-44 has the overall best stats compared to other assault rifles (least dispersion, highest rof).
Let me play two or three more BR3-5 matches against USSR-mains and I shall continue…
Dam im glad i didnt play the first day tbh. They could have at least made it a little more different or put engraving (idk if that real or not) anything to be different.
