Overall, he has identified the main issues quite well.

His perticular observation about the current factions basically being done when it comes to historical additions is spot on (the Commonwealth is the only faction still waiting for iconic inclusions in the tech tree, Italy less so).

And, what he said about the difference between a campaign system vs several factions with shared match-making is a perspective I agree with.

Every other ww2 has done this… why can’t people appreciate this thing about this game and that’s the fact they are just reviving prototypes and weapons that might not have even went intro production like the condors MG?

Go play hell let loose if you want accurate battles (from what i’d assume)

This game is far from historical now anyway…

Who said I’m against prototypes? I certainly never did. I love exploring alternate history.

I can just recognize that alternate history is built on actual history, and prototypes have no meaning if they’re not sharing the scene with historical gear. I want Mk V Stens, Lewis guns, and No. 5 Lee-Enfields as much as I want Electrolux Charltons, SLEM-1s, and Centurion tanks.

I see no contradictions, and I feel sorry for the narrow-minded people who think we can only one one thing or the other.

I wasn’t referencing you, pardon if it came off that way.

Fair, I’m just tired of being the one that both HA-purists (Hi, Veekay) and arcade fanatics vehemently disargee with.

I think both perspectives are good, and both are needed. This game would be boring if we only had historical gear…

It would be boring as well if we had none, or if they were pay-walled.
