If you lean, half the recoil disappears & you can shoot easily. I hope they fix that too.

I said it should be difficult to use. It’s not unusable.
The point of an MG is it to use like an MG. This weird gun gameplay system plagued Enlisted for far too long because they devs are too stupid to make proper working MGs which is something Dice and even Reto managed to achieve and balanace automatics.

Having used stuff like the MG42 and been able to run around killing with it like I’m a protagonist, I’d like to add my voice to what OP is calling for. A weapon like this; gained from an event, limited to a single squad of 6 per account, and to a single campaign… I feel like taking the time to prepare it for ideal operation should pay a dividend. By that I mean setting it up with “mount weapon” on cover or prone.
I agree that it doesn’t need to be over-corrected. I’d be happier if it was better in these circumstances. It doesn’t have to be laser-pointer precise. The recoil is just wack.
Vickers recoil is acceptable. It just need a right perk and firing from the prone position.
