When I read through posts about the new event, there seems to be a real disconnect between the players bases. If people are commenting that the event is to grindy (which it is since last event was only a 5000 point requirement and the new one only lets you miss one day), people are always jumping with “it’s a skill issue”. Now as there are a lot of new players here…yes, it might be hard for them since this game lacks any real tutorial that you don’t have to search out on YouTube…but I also know everyone must forget what it was like when they started as most players were the same.
I also notice people making fun of questions that new players ask and veterans know…if you want the player base to grow and get better for matches…helping usually works best. My favorite is when people make fun of grammar while responding with the most mispelled, incoherent diatribe you could read…everyone needs to remember that the game is played world wide and not everyone has English as thier main language…even the NA server.
The best is everyone complains about what they get from the “free” game without investing a dime in it…apparently they don’t understand how capitalism works. I think devs should tailor the game to the paying players…afterall they keep the game alive for the free-to-play.
I think everyone, including devs, need to understand that they need new players…and happy ones. With that people invest and the game grows and gets better. When Veterans answer newbies questions, it helps make them better and improves match quality. I think devs should pay attention to the forum for ideas…I think the game gets to grindy and time consuming and puts off the player base, game only grows if you grow and keep a playerbase…and it needs to keep the rewards for people who invest in the game as a priority as they keep the game afloat, sorry free-to-play players but you get what you give.
@MajorMcDonalds, this should be the mantra…put out a quality product and people want to invest, make it to time consuming and people want to quit…that’s why I think there is a huge disconnect here between expectations of young vs old, newbies vs veterans, free-to-play vs paid players.
Age is also a thing. Skill can be age based. I agree the old timmers here can be better at not looking down on others skill. I noted that earlier on someone
That works both ways, the youth don’t have to think “they are all that” and get lippy about their greatness. All I want is the game to succed as I can honestly say it’s all I have played since finding it a year and a half ago as its my style of game and unique. Can it be time consuming? DEFINITELY…are squads overpriced? ABSOLUTELY…can tghe game make better decisions? FOR SURE…but we need to make it better.
There is even conflict between computer vs console.
you want to play less
buy premium time and squads and the booster
you want to pay less play more
the event should be longer with more rewards
make it every two day for each segment for 10000 points like before so you only have to play every other day
increase it to 36 days and double the rewards
Exactly…it should be longer with better rewards…but you have this, the new BP, the Halloween event and the Marshal grind since i’m about to lose 300 points…it’s a low if you are new vs old…some people have other things to do in a day. I am Premium, I have all that…
its silly giving 1 0r 100 is the same amount of work
Paragraphs is also a thing, am I rite babes?, is there a TLDR version,?? Xxx
I’m surprised that no one has ever said that to me, even though my English is terrible.
There is also a massive difference with the Enlisted Reddit compared to the forum, going on there you’d think we was playing a different game than them.
Sounds fun!! Is that where the party is at? Xxx
I play ps5 only. Pc loaded with cheaters
Ah - the distress cry of the lesser try-hard gamer when confronted with any better specimen…
You do know I am top player right?
Do yiu just go around forum and insult people
