I already wrote about this problem but again I want to repeat to developpers to try to do something about this inflaction of bombs, mortar, planes.
in normandy maps.
Is too much caos with all kind of bombs coming from everywhere and just get killed continously from random explosions everywhere…
Could we get a new combat mode only for infantry and tanks ??
The best way to saw discontempt in a game and actually leads to something is to drop it. In this case drop the Normandy campaign. In Moscow the CAS issue is was smaller and same goes for Berlin which will come probably this week to OBT. I finished Germany in Normandy but a dropped the US grind since the CAS bombing is just ridiculous these days. Just play and enjoy another campaign. If enough people do this the devs would either forced to nerf the ridiculous CAS or jsut the campaign will die
Drop Normandy, go to Moscow, and you will see a totally new game in term of fun.

Second the idea of rotating campaigns, I love Normandy but sometimes I need a break.
Work on your flying skills, work on the grind, and you can unlock fighters that can shred bombers, since they fly like pigs. Not a total solution to your problem of course, but at least it’s satisfying!
Amen, it’s a different game in Moscow, I like both. But after the artillery nerf it’s slot better. Placing good spawns in Normandy is so important, staying indoors and not stacking troops in one area.
I think they should give the airplanes smaller bombs and more instead. 250 kg bombs and 250 lb blast radius is a bit much.
I only play Normandy when I am required to for a daily mission. It just isn’t fun!
I was honestly afraid to mention the Moscow campaign as a fix for this because I was afraid the devs would realize there is not as much bombing in it as there is in Normandy and they would “fix” this. I actually thought this and acted accordingly … I guess I am shell shocked from Normandy or something. What is pathetic is I like the Normandy squads units and equipment but to do away with the bombing I have to give Normandy up it is ridiculous.
Back to Moscow - this is an infantry mans ice cream cone … if one goes around a corner with their weapon in hand there are about 25 places an enemy could be so many great hiding places.
I do not play Normandy unless I need it for a daily mission. When you get killed by planes you have no defense against over and over… I hope Tunisia isn’t so plane-centric!
