Vehicles retraiting point

What bother me when I want use a vehicle is when they accomplished their job for switch from them I need kill the squad and this is not optimal for the team tickets

So

I think the game should have retreating point for switch from a vehicle squad without waste tickets

  • Plane retreating point should be 500m behind the rearm point and be protected by AA for avoid the retreating plane be ambushed by an enemy plane

  • Ground vehicle (tank,APC,bike) retreat point it would be 100m behind from the vehicle spawn point and be unprotected because is already deep in the grey zone

  • In both retraining point the player need wait 10s with the vehicle inside for complete the retreat

I think the vehicle squad should have a return button or a retreat button instead of a suicide button

If the vehicle player encounters a situation where the ammunition is fired, the parts are badly damaged, or the crew members are seriously injured, they can use the return button or the retreat button to return to the headquarters, and the player will enter the selection screen as well, but the vehicle just used can be used immediately, and it will not be a suicide to destroy their own vehicle and put the vehicle into a cooldown period

This mechanic can also be applied to infantry, which can also use the retreat button when the infantry runs out of ammunition or takes too much damage, and can use the infantry regiment immediately after returning

The downside of this mechanic is that it can be used by the player to play the same vehicle or legion all the time, resulting in units being reused

The advantage is that the player can avoid excessive suicidal behavior (such as plane suicide) or the dilemma of having to commit suicide because of the lack of ammo because of this new mechanic, and the player who successfully returns or retreats not only understands the benefits of using the vehicle or legion, but also can get points related to the successful return of the vehicle or the survival of personnel, and the ability to successfully return the lost population, which can avoid the situation where the team has been losing population, which is not only a reward for the player, Players are also encouraged to use this mechanic and not to overdo suicidal behavior

I may be a little too idealistic in terms of merit, but it’s a solution that solves a lot of problems, but it’s also a solution that creates new ones

A RTB (Return to Base) mechanic could be interesting…could return the vehicle and allow you to spawn an infantry squad without ticket loss … I would be ok with it depending on how implemented.

Yeah, it would be neat to have a way to change soldiers without wasting (too much) tickets.

Personally, I think there should be some costs involved (because logistics of moving things around should have some sort of price) when swapping squads, but it should have a lower one than simply suicide with the remaining squad (and to also discourage random trolls to spend all their time “choosing” a squad).

I think it should also not allow to choose the same squad again, until the new squad dies or gets replaced.

I think it should also make it that there is 2 minute delay between swapping, unless progress has been made, like point has been captured, tickets gained and now a new capture point is available, which, now requires a different squad to take (or support it’s takeover) efficiently. While this works on paper with confrontation, invasion, assault and destruction, conquest is a bit tricky.

Overall, it does seem very wasteful with how often fellow squadmates die.

Sounds like a good idea. Don’t know why you guys don’t just use the squad as a regular infantry squad if you don’t need the vehicle anymore though. Tankers are a pseudo Assaulter Squad anyways
