honestly i was sitting there like
huh?? when i walked up to one of those large transport trucks with a broken transmission on airfield and realized that the tools to repair tanks don’t work on light vehicles which seems a little weird cause the most frequent thing to break on light vehicles is the transmission and then they don’t drive anymore… which also seems weird because transmissions don’t break that easily
like iv watched people dukes of hazard old sedans and they can still drive afterwards maybe with a bent axle and a missing front bumper but it still drives away o.o’

Aye thats a good idea, so many vehicles cant move due to broken transmission.

this is actually interestring.
until now, i always wondered, can vehicles be repaired?
never got the chace because the enginner is always the first dude to get shot.
( in my case )
but hearing that tool boxes cannot repair vehicles, makes me a bit sad.
nontheless should be a thing.
Tools also can’t be used to repair planes, which I find a little annoying on the rare occasions I manage to successfully land my busted-up aircraft intact… but I suspect that fixing a light vehicle or even a tank is much different from repairing a shot-up plane lol It’d be nice to be able to land a damaged plane, repair it, and get back in the fight, but that probably isn’t realistic. Even pilots who got back to a carrier or hangar or something, their plane busted up, mechanics there probably couldn’t just work on it and get it back up and running the same day unless the damage is truly superficial and nothing major was hit. If a pilot resorts to making an emergency landing after having been shot up, that’s probably that and they seek to get back to base or wherever they might go to re-connect.
Speaking of which… actually, nah, I’ll make a new topic to talk about what pilots should do when they manage to land. In my experience, you’re just gonna end up getting killed by the game as you try to make it to the battlefield because thus far it’s always been too far away.
