does anyone else do that? I find that placing sandbags makes it obvious that theres something important there but placing a ammo box helps it hide since it brown and if someone marks it it’ll show as ammo which isn’t that important. I usually place rally points in bushes and place 1 or 2 ammo boxes towards the enemy location just incase they shoot in that area and I know you can destroy them when it gets shot at but it has enough hit points to absorbs a full mag in most situations

idk if this tactic is old school but anything i build that can be destroyed easily i put a mines on it. after destroying the stuff the mines explode making it into a booby trap

lol thats a good one a random placed ammo box just exploding after destroying it. ive placed mines on my rally points to keep it safe from enemies placing their own but ive ran into the issue where if you dont use the engineers anti personal mine the rally point stays up even if the enemy sets it off or I just got really unlucky and they someone dodged the mine while placing their own

I must be such a killjoy because I just shoot rallies the instant I see them. Camping or mining rallies / APCs never really appealed to me. I figured the risk was too high for the reward.
On a side note, I get suspicious of ammo boxes because most times I see one means someone’s been camping there (most likely snipers) and there could be a rally too.

i used to run with medic squad and every medbox i deploy i put a AT mines on it. the most efficient combo is the barbwire and AT mine combo
