sometimes seems like they need instant to cap. looked at cap point and progress was at 25% and second or 2 later cap is taken by allies. is there any minimum cap time? cause it seems like you can capture cap as ally in seconds if there are enough people on it.
btw wanted to check this on replay, but good luck finding it…
2 - 3 seconds, I doubt, but I know every campaign is tweaked by the devs for balance. Heck, every maps, even every points have different cap speed values.
Pacific being that new, devs probably didn’t tweak it yet, waiting to see how it goes with the player base. Right now: caping with USA is effortless (provided USA can indeed REACH the cap)
like i said, saw 25% progress of allies at one time and second or two later allies capped. so idk if this is bug or not, or even if i saw this correctly, cause even when we have replays i cant use them cause i cant find my game…
It’s definitely a quick cap time with lots of reinforcements. But I think some of that comes from just how exposed the lanes are for advance and how open things are.
Most of the other campaigns have lots more cover to work with.
There is a high attrition rate when your attacking (which I’ve done a few times even as Japan).
One of the big key things I have to adjust to is how exposed I am even advancing to defend. On almost all other campaigns and their maps you have places to cover and advance to hold.
This is one very exposed place, with lots and lots of Grey zone SPAAs bleeding you.
As well the capture zones are massive and can be hit from almost 200 degrees of attack.
It has been a blast, SMGs feel second rate to Rifle fire, reminds me of Moscow of old.
I do feel the Allies have a slight equipment advantage, and definitely there is the cap time speed that feels a bit to fast given that a loss of a point combined with a long distance to travel means they can chain caps together really fast if your team plays too much rear guard.
