USA handholding?

Wondering if anyone else wonder so, but…

Is DF handholding USA faction in Pacific? I know, I know, the campaing is new, balance isn’t tweaked yet but…

caping points in 10 seconds? 300 to 400 tickets or so reinforcements per caped points (even before last one?)

Just seems excessive.

anyway. positive points are that maps are really fun. Feels fresh, definitely different from the other 5 campaigns.

i’m not sure if it’s to make up on how difficult some of these maps truly are

people are slowly moving to US side.

and people will not regret doing so.

It’s my guess as well. Japan defends most of the time, and attacking is indeed more difficult here.

But capped points in only 10 seconds?

@Shiivex (I know, it’s why I try to lvl Japan first, before seeing another Tunisia :P)

never forget axis dominance on stalingrad and now its a shit show where alies dominate easly. 90% of the times.
ok 85%.
maybe.

sometimes seems like they need instant to cap. looked at cap point and progress was at 25% and second or 2 later cap is taken by allies. is there any minimum cap time? cause it seems like you can capture cap as ally in seconds if there are enough people on it.

btw wanted to check this on replay, but good luck finding it…

i want to know what happens with 20 players on it? specially with buff allies get? is it possible to cap it in 2-3 seconds?

2 - 3 seconds, I doubt, but I know every campaign is tweaked by the devs for balance. Heck, every maps, even every points have different cap speed values.

Pacific being that new, devs probably didn’t tweak it yet, waiting to see how it goes with the player base. Right now: caping with USA is effortless (provided USA can indeed REACH the cap)

humm

like i said, saw 25% progress of allies at one time and second or two later allies capped. so idk if this is bug or not, or even if i saw this correctly, cause even when we have replays i cant use them cause i cant find my game…

are these values for one player capping? and are multiple players capping just multiplication? or is there another formula?

It’s definitely a quick cap time with lots of reinforcements. But I think some of that comes from just how exposed the lanes are for advance and how open things are.
Most of the other campaigns have lots more cover to work with.

There is a high attrition rate when your attacking (which I’ve done a few times even as Japan).

One of the big key things I have to adjust to is how exposed I am even advancing to defend. On almost all other campaigns and their maps you have places to cover and advance to hold.
This is one very exposed place, with lots and lots of Grey zone SPAAs bleeding you.

As well the capture zones are massive and can be hit from almost 200 degrees of attack.

It has been a blast, SMGs feel second rate to Rifle fire, reminds me of Moscow of old.

I do feel the Allies have a slight equipment advantage, and definitely there is the cap time speed that feels a bit to fast given that a loss of a point combined with a long distance to travel means they can chain caps together really fast if your team plays too much rear guard.

Its been fun so far though.

Already from now attacker usually usa take 300 reinforcements for point and 4+man cap fast as fuck

Yes it’s what I’m saying… I find this a tad excessive.

But the campaign just realeased what, 3 days ago? They’re (devs) are bound to tweak those values as time goes. Hopefully.

Pacific seems to have Airfield vibes.
