One each, so two if you complete all of the tasks.
They should change the Khukuri to a tomahawk or something more Americana at least.
Damn… Just kind sucks as an event for America’s 250th birthday its genuinely just bleh like they cobled it together last minute.
Khukri is a super cool knife but it should have reserved for a event or premium saboteur that was a philipine scout for a event around the time of pearl harbour.
Just super lack luster event and i only really plan to do it for the silver but besides that the main reward for a event that wont reach another mile stone till 2051 this event is just bleh.
A Philippine scout with a Nepalese knife famously used by a British unit? And a Saboteur? The Gurkhas are infantry units and should be implemented in a way that represents that.
Wouldn’t surprise me if they did forget about it. Honestly, they should’ve done something bigger, like a All American Squad or something. This event is just a big disappointment. Something Gaijin is very good at.
Could we please get back either to campaigns or have a WT-like take on factions and research trees?
Ever since you removed the campaigns, the game only became more and more “generic”, the research tree makes no sense whatsoever, no real content is added beyond reskinned weapons and, another important thing to mention, in all these years the Second Sino-Japanese war was totally ignored.
Oh wow the Liu rifle and few Chinese blokes as a premium squad! What a slop.
I’d like to re-link an old post of mine here specifically the point 2. of my suggestions
Instead of being called “USSR, USA, Germany, Japan”, factions should be rebranded as “USSR, Allies, Axis, Japan, China”, as the various factions were formed up by multiple countries, and would be easier to manage for further development, even for modders.
As for campaigns, since it was a World War, it can either be done in an over-simplified manner (as it is currently), or in a more detailed, but also seemingly complicated way, as the fronts in that war were so many.
Seeing the main fronts that are usually discussed here, these should be a number of possible fronts to be implemented.
“Western Front”, where Germans will face the Brits-Commonwealth and USA forces, huge opportunities for premium squads here for both sides;
“North Africa”, where we will see the mixed Afrikakorps and Italian Army (with their Ascari native troops) fighting the French, the Commonwealth and USA, again, huge opportunities for premium squads here as well;
“Eastern Front”, where the united Axis army faces the USSR (with more defined Mongolian squads/appearances, as Mongolia and Tuva were heavily active in the Eastern Front too). The Axis saw an heavy involvement of not only Germany, but also Italy, Romania and Hungary, which should be regarded as “majors”, and at the same time, we can have premium squads based on Croatian soldiers, Slovakian soldiers, Azur Division, Charlemagne Division and Ukrainian volunteers, all of which could be a nice addition too. Premium Hungarian and Romanian armored squads would also bring some degree of variation.
“Italian Campaign”, where the unified end-war German-Italian Social Republic armies face the Allies and premium Italian Partizans squads, but also premium Polish squads too. Mount Cassino siege would be a perfect example of a battleground.
“China”, where the unified KMT and CCP face the Japanese. Battle of Shanghai and Nanking anyone? Here a lot of maps and gear can be involved, as the Chinese employed a mix of German (let’s also mention the licensed Hanyang 88 which was a Gewehr 88, Mauser C96 and the Type 24 “Chiang Kai-shek” rifle which was a direct copy of the German Stabdardmodell Rifle; premium weapon MG34), Italian, Soviet, American weaponry, German tanks such as the Pz I and II, (SdKfz 221, 222 and 260 could be premium), Italian CV-35 tankettes, Soviet T26 and BT5 light tanks. The NRA also used a number of Vickers 6-Ton and Vickers A4E12. M3 and M5 Stuart light tanks and M4 Sherman medium tanks were employed too. The Chinese small airforce also used Martin B-10, Curtiss Hawk II, Hawk III, Boeing P-26C/Model 281, Fiat CR.32, Polikarpov I-15 and I-16 and late research stage being the American A-29, P-40, P-43. The Chinese airforce could also see a Premium “Flying Tigers” squad based on the American Volunteer Group with their Curtiss P-40 Warhawk and P-40B.
“Pacific”, were the Allies face Japan in the various Japanese-controlled territories, and the Japanese side can also have premium Thai, Indian (Azad Hind) and Indonesian squads, while the Allies can bring premium Filipino and NZ ones.
“Continuation War”, were the Finns face the Soviets with mixed Finnish-German equipment, and Swiss premium SIG MKMO as well.
Also, I have a feel that Gaijin would do something big if they do an Russian anniversary. It’ll be like a squad or vehicle, with some Russian guns in between.
Get ratio’ed… I guess…? You didn’t have to do this to yourselves…
Are you guys not ashamed by this…? I know I would be, if I tried to sneak in Commonwealth weapons into a 4th of July event!
What people sign off on these ideas? This must have passed through so many hands before being released, yet it was done anyway…? Any sane person could see the problem with this…
Plausible Solution
An intelligent thing to do would be to replace the two Kukris with two machetes (or three, if you’re feeling generous), then promise to return the Kurkis in a future Gurkha squad.
Doesn’t even have to come with a special primary weapon - would honestly prefer it that way, being able to customize them ourselves apart from melee weapons would be way cooler, let them be able to equip both rifles and SMGs instead as their ‘special mechanic’.
Next year’s 4th of July, we’ll get recycled Pattern 1897 Infantry Officer’s Swords and BSA Thompsons - welcome back to the fold, Yanks!

It Gaijin, of course not.
Wasn’t familiar with who famously used it though i realized my error after a quick google search to add a philipine scout knife would be a bolo knife not a Khukri i got the 2 confused though to add ghurkas theyd only fit in burma and the Tunisia campaign to my knowledge unless they added more campaigns of dense jungle warfare(would be fun but were copying HLL at the exact time they are adding Vietnam) in asia.
I mean, you could’ve added a machete, bolo knife, trench knife, a saber…
Just seems like an odd choice to give the US a kukri for the 4th of july tbh, but hey, more colt jortzes
How hard is it to accept campaigns are gone? It was changed for the greater good… shouldn’t have complained about less populated games while you had it ![]()
When the event stops repeating the same weapons, please offer a rare one that appears infrequently in battle.
I like. Swords/knives are rare and useful (for sprint) and the Colt Schwarz will come handy for the “kill X enemies using a pistol” daily tasks.
Major, the rewards have been a bit limited lately; the previous event only gave out 2 tickets even though the rewards themselves were really good and rare weapons, so I think quite a few people would have appreciated getting at least 3.
Well is called mini event for a reason they normally are events that start inside bigger events like the Dday one
So, we need a “Big Event” version with at least four obtainable weapons; honestly, I actually regret not getting two of those MP41(r)s. XD
I’m pretty sure I have about five of those MP-41(r) if I recall correctly, I picked up two TKB-336s to me, those are more useful.
Well like I said the Golok was made by the OSS for agents to go into the Philippines with
Then the Philippine scouts mainly known for the bowie knife they had bayonets to their own standard blade and Marines used them too
Also we regiments with their own machete variant the bolo knife
Example from the 2nd Filipino Regiment

Also another photo I didn’t get the regiment they were apart of

Though these ones are more longer than the bowie knife the Philippine Scouts had
