Cross play adding of friends
Problem - I can’t add my console friends to my friends list on pc, visa versa.
Solution - update players list on the game. Anybody who plays should be added to the system anyways shouldn’t be that hard of a fix to find someone.
Link account for pc to console, visa versa.
Problem - If I want to play my pc account on a console I can’t use my already created account I have. I have to start from scratch.
Solution - add a Gajjin log in at the title screen to link accounts.
Bulk buying cards with bronze.
Problem - you have to click each card you use, and if you are like most who play the game you don’t use them in between rounds. So they add up pretty quick, and having to use 170 bronze cards it can take for ever.
Solution - add bulk buying is 1x 5x 10x
Communication
Problem - beyond the typical discord and team speak we need in game communication because I usually don’t team up, as I say most don’t either. We need something other than text to communicate the objective.
Solution - add voice chat or some kind of party channels to the game.
Objective xp incentives
Problem - a lot don’t play to win or to capture or defend.
Solution - Add better Xp incentives and tell about these in the loading screens to keep people updated who don’t read the updates or forums.
I know there is a ton I haven’t thought of or haven’t experienced, but just tryna contribute something to the game/ community. Anyone is welcome to add what ever they think will help improve the game. Hopefully it’ll grab the devs attention and get something done about these things.
Pretty sure we have voice chat but it’s either bugged or no one uses it. I’ll also put my two cents here.
More 5 point conquest maps
Problem - 5 conquest maps are great and we need more
solution- make more 5 point conquest maps
Not enough AA options
problems- AA guns are not strong enough to deal with planes
solution- buff AA guns via turn rate, ammo, or something else. Also put AA guns on the maps themselves
I thought the same, but from other threads I’ve read apparently in-game voice is only for people who are grouped up.
Which TBH makes no sense, if you’re grouped with friends you’re likely already using something else eg. teamspeak, discord etc.
In-game voice should be for everyone so you can communicate with your team.
In game voice communication for all your team was tried in a lot of games. Basically, it does not work. It is toxic and useless. Everybody turns it off.
Communication with your friends is working very well.
I understand your opinion but I have to disagree. If voice could be disabled per player permanently ie. by the scoreboard, for those that are toxic, the benefit would be positive in being able to communicate your intentions. eg. Normandy telling the assaults to hold back while you sniped out the machine guns, so they don’t waste tickets being cut down etc.
Typically players don’t want to hear what others think about their actions. And they don’t need to listen to 9 other grand strategists. Yes, some of these hints may be useful, but they are drown in negative comments. Yes, in some games you can mute players individually, but it is more practical to mute all.
To some degree a wheel of common commands, like attack here, retreat etc do work - at least they are respectful and it is easy to make them not abusive.
Also, they are international.
Built-in communication with your friends and inter-platform friend lists are important. You cannot effectively set it up if platforms are different. It could be a big plus to this game.
