Updating the old gunner premiums to have an engineer was a major improvement to those squads, making them usable for mid to high-level players. I hope this wasn’t a one-time-only update and support for old assault/rifle squads is on the way! I find it difficult to justify using old premium squads when they can’t even build rally points. It is genuinely one of the things I would like to see most in future updates.
