Both squads reused divisions of old legacy squads. It’s pretty lame we didn’t get something new and unique instead.

I vividly recall a moment where I survived a rifle shot to the head around 100 or 150 meters or so due to the damage drop off, only because of the heavy helmet

Yeah, that’s definitely possible. But it’s certainly nothing that matters on a large scale. You don’t usually have firefights at distances over 100 meters. Even more unlikely is to someone hit your head at such distances.

But of course, if someone is in need of minmaxing. Some added protection is always better than non.

The new set of maps is cool. Today driving with the Universal Carrier in Sword Beach was much fun. Well done. A sincere thank you for the map devs. Those I like. Keep those new maps coming. :+1:

I’m really enjoying this update! Thanks for the constant refinements and improvements; the new animations and effects look absolutely fantastic. I’m sure you’ve heard this a million times, but please consider an AI overhaul or at least a significant improvement

I’m quite sure you only need to make slight modifications to the existing animations to obtain better and more historically accurate sprint actions.

That would be really cool. In the current state of things, running soldiers are the easiest targets in Enlisted - not only because of the sub-optimal pathfinding, but because they are forced to stay straight up when running

Most excellent APC’s are event vehicles, like Sdkfz with cannon and Universal Carriers.

So what happen if i bought them then? roll back? cause if that the case then i wont.

but if not then you know what gonna happen

You make some of the wildest claims at times. The absolute best APCs in game are the free universal carriers. They are the fastest most nimble for getting where you need to go. It’s the smallest of the lot, literally a 1/3-1/4 of the LVT, so it’s way easier to hide it and keep it alive. Then there’s the free german half track which is the premium one just with a 75mm cannon. If you take away all the other gimmicks and only focus on what an APC is and what’s it’s purpose in game, the UCs are best. Most importantly though, even if the event ones didn’t exist, i can assure you the premium ones are still not “pay to win”. No one is winning a game because they bought the sdkf and aren’t using the regular truck.

The plane definitely isn’t pay to win either. It’s flying characteristics suck, it can’t push down nor pull up very well. It only has a few 50 cal guns, a.k.a. pea shooters for br5. The TT jet was better in every regard when it first came out, and to some extent, still is.

Can someone explain me the reasoning behind this? Who thought that Achilles or M8A1 are in need of nerfs?

As far as I know, the M8A1 still doesn’t even have AT ammunition with an explosive filler.
Well, and the Achilles was already pretty bad a underperforming even before this nerf.

It’s truly bizarre to me.

It really seems like they implemented random WT balance changes. Without even bothering to understand that Enlisted and WT have completely different contexts when it comes to which vehicles are good and which aren’t.

  1. Rat tanks (aka small, lightly armored vehicles with a decent gun) are extremely effective in WT. In Enlisted, it’s a completely different story. The maps are way smaller while infantry can sneak up on you far easier than tanks in WT. Especially since:

  2. Vehicles in WT use a third-person view. The Pz.Scl.Ic suffers greatly from limited vision in Enlisted.

  3. They have the option to actually use better ammunition (M8A1).

  4. Tanks in WT are placed in completely different BRs compared to Enlisted. For example, the Achilles is in the much lower BR, facing completely different types of tanks. (Definitely not things like Panthers or Tigers).

Once again, this only demonstrates sheer laziness and a complete lack of attention to detail.

Oh, they’re likely just ported directly from WT, rather than any balance changes Enlisted devs themselves decided to make. WT made these changes, so now we have to get them too.
