Yeah but you dont want to play this plane against Jets specially the soviet Ki 100 is good BR III plane at BR IV will be just bad BR IV plane. BR IV plane can be something like the La-7 that have more speed then 650 since BR V is heavy jet dominated BR. P-63 also struggles against jets and Ki 100 is even worse.
While we’re at it. Move the chi nu down to br 2, give Japan some 47mm cannons at br 1, move m18 to br 3, jumbo 76 to br 4, panzer 4 70 A to br 3, replace m4 105 rounds with heat as a nerf, give Russian 85 Aphebc and apcr, give is 2 aphebc, and give all the American tanks apcbc.
So we shouldn’t lower something weak because other people would complain that their weapons aren’t the exact same type of weapon? The BR4 weapons of those other nations are on par if not better than the MKB 42H. And as for buffing it, is there anything that would make it useful on BR5? You can change the other stats all you want and even give it a bayonet but the low ROF would still make it obsolete compared to the STG 44 and other nation’s BR5 weapons like the Hyde and Federov.

Well im pretty sure some of the existing BR V Figther plane of Japan could be lowered to fulfill a BR IV role that could fight jets.

J2M3 is a BR IV for sure the N1K2-J also but they can try giving it more rockets it could carry up to 6 rockets so if they increase the rockets to 6 from just 2 maybe N1K2-J can be BR V plane but it needs testing can more rockets save it at BR V but J2M3 is just not a BR V material.

I spent a good 20 minutes looking at stats and coming up with arguments only to realize that you are right, even though Im certain that Mkb42(H) wont be any better than PPD-40 or Thompson M1928A1 (50), it would just different, still players would still ask for their own mkb.
grass is always greener syndrome is real. I cant deny that.
So far the suggestions I seen for the buffs were (none of these are mine btw):
- add a bayonet
- make Mkb42(H) an infantry weapon like M2 carbine or Gewehr 43 kurz
- basically copy paste StG44 stats for it as it was done with the scoped mkb42
None feels like a real solution, but at this point, its just a matter of which one of your hands you are willing to bite.

BR III and J2M3 to BR IV - Archive / Suggestions - Archive - Enlisted — official forumI have made long time ago I can make more but a lot of props need to be moved to BR IV and BR III. The only props that have some chance against the jets are probably BF 109 K4 and Ki-84-Ko but still will be underdogs all other props really need to go BR IV maybe even this two props and a lot of BR IV planes can be move to BR III.

Blessed change, though I will continue to complain the Stug 3F is BR3 and not BR2 and how dumb that is until it is fixed.
Im going to check this, and I really really hope this is the addition of options that dont cost gold to use.
Nice to see, especially on Tunisia, some of those bush patches were nightmares for it.
Would like to know what structures, but the more destructibility the better so woop woop.

Yeah, it’s not really a matter of stats since we both know br 4 smgs can destroy it
But this is the annoying part
I think it could become usable with way less dispersion, 550 rpm and a bayonet, then it would become unique and usable rather than just being a straight up downgrade

Well I can make separated topics for each plane or one big one for all BR IV and BR V props that need to be downgraded do to the jets. Which the devs would prefer ?

There was also the one I made, granted it had more than one option, but a staggering 85% of people at wanted it to at least be BR4 with only 15% against, and out of that “lower it” group, 45% voted to bring it to even BR3. I think that the majority of people are behind the idea.

Koko and fed avtomat 25 never got bayonets in beta test and are no longer in patch notes - are they going to get them at some point or was it dropped?
