The problem with that is, thats not how our dear Gaijin works. I guess you are new here and you know little about who you are complaining.
It is a real problem, I can guarantee for him since I got the same issue. Basically you can choose DX12 but the game misses any DX12 feature. It happened after a 10mb update that doesn’t even have a version number. It happened to me and a lot others in this forum.
Tell you the truth, they cannot ship an update without changing the version number, because the updater relies on the version number to detect if it needs to fetch an update or not.
You dont have to “guarantee for him” for him you know… I just found that out myself
Because, it ignores your choice and runs the game in DX11.
remember when flame tank were added? yeah i do all the hope for sherman with flamethrower that i have and more.

THe Game looks completely different, mostly becasue all fancy extra stuff don’t work without DX12, and all other systems made to work with it.
Subjective sure, but it’s technically different versions of the game.
Problem is also it’s just not graphics, it affects performance too

Go into your settings page and turn the anti-aliasing mode to DLSS (since u are 4090) instead of THR or whatever that is.
That will make your game run smoother.
I am on a 3070 and i use Dx11 for 4 years, I use ultra-performance since i dont really care about quality, and I use 60 fps limit and 3840x2160 as resolution.
The game runs smooth and I am pretty happy with it performance wise
I checked the launcher and it says 0.7.3.66, so I suppose this entire update is intentional, as you said with a version number.
Then it’s either a bug or some sort of strange decision they made. I just wish they fix this problem soon.
it is intentional, it is to disable DX12 temporarily so they dont get spammed by people who dont even know what in the world is Dx12 and Dx11
If this is the case I really hope they clarify things in the future, announce .66 with a post and actually inform me the DX12 is temporarily disabled, so that I could save my precious time from trying all sorts of methods from restart to modifying the config file.
Though I still think it’s just a stupid mistake they made

I guess its because the Community Managers are not at work, but the devs still are.
And most people simply cant tell the difference aside from the red artifacts diappearing

Is there any way we could get the KP-31 flamethrower button activator fixed? It switches the gun into semi auto and I can’t seem to change it back easy on PS4. I love all the new additions. Saboteur is very strategic and fun.
I keep getting blown away rather quickly because the flamethrower knob seems to switch the gun into permanent semi-auto mode and I’ve only gotten it to change back during battle a couple of times by screwing with it. But then I get killed instantly. I kind of expected to have a SMG that can fire while shooting fire 
too hahaha but maybe we could?
Other than that great work, “any mode” was getting a little sloppy lately.
With a lot of PC players doing their signature “bend & snap” pose white shooting me which I think wouldn’t be in a real ww2 battle. Your officer would scold you to fire your gun correctly.
I’ve had a few where you are BRV spawn in the bunker and have 2 nanoseconds to prep to defend or attack. A bit annoying but I love a challenge. Love the DO-335 tricky flying probably meant to be that way with the wing span.

Definitely gonna be some “trendy” zombies/potman/moon cringe stuff again.
And there will be edgy stuff spilling over to main game as always.
