Devs be doing everything to get on their players bad side
They are improving the game though, and I appreciate it
I will edit my first comment, I wasn’t going to go full negative
Are select fire reworks still planned or is that canceled? And if still planned what was the issue with the changes on test server?
Thank you devs for making me auto login into enlisted on xbox one
This guide is of course super helpful, but it’s unrealistic to expect everyone to find and check the exact guide on how to update them, or more likely even that they would be able to immediately update them each and every time an update drops. Yourself and some of the other dedicated modders might indeed do so, of course, but even then this requires you to update them immediately to prevent people logging in to try out updates having issues and not understanding why, which is unfair to expect of you too.
The developer approach is trying to find a solution to detect them and some way to make this clear to players or solve the issue ourselves for the future to prevent performance issues/game crashes without players using the mods realizing why, not to remove modifications altogether.
The news says:
Not “forever”.
True, and I totally agree. This is a very big problem with people these days not having the patience to read
This is indeed the way to go, I overrall appreciate the devs finally taking the step.
No compensation for resetting condition, scale and rotation of all my camouflages?
Thanks for wasting like hour (and maybe far more than that) of my time for no good reason whatsover.
Plus I don’t even have the certainty this won’t ever happen again.
Hello, does that include console hard freeze, although I have closed my app and reopened Enlisted on Ps5 after 3 matches, haven’t had any issues as yet.
which could have been entirely prevented from simply logging changes done to sounds.
clearly stating what was changed, and what was added / removed.
and maybe, just maybe,
give a warning before playing.
hence;
-
Logs of technical changes
-
warning as soon as you boot up the game if the game detects modified files ( which already does ).
or, much like mods, warn that the current sound mods are outdated.
it’s not rocket sciense.
i refuse to believe it’s that hard in 2026.
let’s stop pretending otherwise. shall we.
instead, no.
someone opted for the laziest way out.
and remove entirely the ability to hotfix them.
regardless if someone could more or less read.
sir, that’s sarcasm.
i mean, i would hope not forever. but given the previous tracks of records for the editor such as QOL and equipment selector, i’m not so sure of.
Well you know there are people (like me) who is inert to sarcasm, and its @MajorMcDonalds 's duty to make sure nobody take the sentence’s meaning wrongly
What I find bizarre is the select fire rework has had no actual communication.
It was introduced in test server without any announcement besides patch notes
The devs didn’t give their justifications
They quietly decided not to implement it.
No justifications
And they aren’t communicating whether it’s still happening or not
no… ![]()
Did the developers mention in more details about what those “performance issues” might be and what (in particular) might have caused them?
(I am just curious, if nothing you can tell, then ignore)
The ppsh 41 silenced was way less significant and I think that had dedicated posts about its removal and the plan for it in the future.
Oh yeah? What about the complete Mod Editor overhaul and all the syntax changes for game codes?
They literally have 0 mentions of them in any official and non-official devblogs
And I literally have to make a news post on my own
How about that pal?
Both are the same issue: no communication on things that should be communicated.
Not that I care, for those changes on mods i have my ways to reveal what they have done.
Changes can escape my sight with my setup ![]()
I literally spotted the sound mod disable change right when they push the update
at least ones gets stealthely updated ![]()
the other… not even considered of being done through Dms, own threads, nothing.
quite literally, nothing.
but, one of the many issues within enlisted.
lack of communication does indeed affect everyone.
guess this thread is… to some extent, communication.
highlighting how bad it is.
and bareboned. but…
Yeah but it’s also a pain in the ass to read through and parse
that’s not your fault just the nature of what ur looking at
