Why do paratroopers need to be SO close when arriving ground onto the landing point?.. i understand it must be convinient for the player. But can’t it be a little bit more fair and unprecise? It would also make an interesting factor to balance. Since Paratroopers woud be better in cornered areas of the map. and not necesarily on the middle of an open fire battle.

If I may expand on this suggestion:
Paras can get shot and hurt during the drop, so I want to be able to use a health pack and shoot back!

And drop AP mines and Grens and Det packs and shoot with AT gun

I agree; I don’t have any paratrooper squads, but I have gotten many kills where I just spray at one point and kill the entire paratrooper squad. If they were spread more widely, maybe they would have survived.

Everyone has paratroopers but no one uses them and never thinks about them. There are the bombers with 5 or 6 man crews jump out the plane and boom you have your paratroopers. With 2 smgs I might add but his is a very controversial topic. I jump out if I know im going to die after a bombing run and use them as assaulters.
I saw some gameplay on YT in which a tanker shot a HE shell at a descending para, hit him, killing the whole para squad instantly while still on their parachutes.
Good reason to spread them out a bit?
