I think the merged campaigns and BR system need to be reconsidered and give a proper testing individually like someone has to test merged campaigns without the BR system and devs need to try the soft rule instead of the BR system with weapons labeled which era of the war they are with early, late and all war where each weapon and vehicle will have a label with the rule where late war weapons should not see early war maps so no IS-2 or King Tiger in Moscow or Pershing in Tunisia or Pacific.
For those who beg for merge to hurry up, you better know what’s going on with the gaming industry these past years lately with even AAA games released in a broken state.

The issue with community being so frustrated and overdramatic is because we literally don’t know anything relevant.
All we see is 3 months of no other content than events. And now, we don’t have even those.
There’s just stagnation. So it’s understandable people are getting frustrated.

But even Alpha’s involvement in the testing effort has taken off in the recent past, and progress has been relatively slow. If the efficiency of the last five months is anything to go by, it may be expected that the 2023 work programme may continue to be delayed for many years. And a great deal of already completed content, activities, will be lagged.
No one wants to see the king start his parade in a new coat that is not yet finished.
But we should also know if the king’s new coat was sewn to fairy tale standards.
No one would want to find out after the new coat was sewn that it was transparent (non-existent) like in the fairy tale, right?
Adding new maps/ vehicles and weapons to the game is always a simple cramming work, with no actual difficulty. Players should not be accustomed to developers’ inefficiency. The current 3A games require a lot of effort to polish, which is tens of times the workload of Enlisted merge update. There is no comparability between them.

… That’s…
That’s just being cultured is all!
(Buying at normal price now also means getting the deluxe edition for free on release)
It’s really hard to overcome myself and do not start playing early access.
I must endure! It’s just few days!

I opened it yesterday… Just wanted a glimpse, to see character creation… and opening intro. Then I finally controlled myself and shut it down.
It’s AAA alright.
If you’re used to good old childhood baldur’s gate, the only difference I see is you cannot min max your starting stat rolls, it’s fixed values (which gives you an average character).
Looks really great, Divine Divinity quality. Only company that I could ever see attempting to make a Baldur’s sequel.
Yeah xDD i did study character creation too few days back.
There’s one big difference planned for full version. Races will not have any special stat bonuses. You don’t have to play half elf for charisma and so on.
But racial special bonuses like night vision etc stays.
It’s kinda woke friendly since all races are “equal” now. But at least you are not “forced” to play certain race to have bonuses to class.

I like about this.
He can be any soft rule, and take into account the factors of balance.
I’m not sure it’s a good thing…
A lil faery elf having more const than a stout dwarf fatty seems silly to me…
Oh well

Yeah, I didn’t like it at first glance. But at least player has more freedom.
But I think they should just allow to choose old concept or new one. It was kinda unnecessary. But it reflects upcoming changes to DnD rules.

Is neither wrong, the freedom of use the race you like in the way you like is better than
“Ok i choose the dwarf and -100 charisma point with human and elf because human and elf are racist” good old time

Meh, at least every race felt special.
If they remove those stuff for “inclusion”, or other retarded concepts… not good.
D&D truly becomes vanilla. Take the half orcs. We all know how they were… conceived… Or some other races being notorious for enslaving other races “no no, slavery bad”… we know it’s bad. It’s why the “evil” alignment existed in the first place…
They decided to change that to depict they do happy marriages instead. So silly.
Anyway. I don’t like that everything everywhere becomes woke or canceled or censored or whatnot to satisfy a small % of snowflakes. But I’ll probably enjoy BG3 a lot anyway.

i could bet wokeness has a part in it if not the actual reason tbh
They will still keep lot of specific characteristics. Only pure bonuses to stats like + 2 points to strength will no longer be a thing.
So you can be effective thief no matter which tou race pick and so on.
I really do not think it’s very big problem. Even tho things like genetics predispositions exist, there are things liek talent as well.
I think it’s pretty much realistic there can be intellectual orcs and so on.
That’s why I don’t think it’s that big issue. It just ler you have a bigger freedom.
And I am someone who really hates woke ideology and so on.
Btw. Lore differences between races will still be a thing, don’t worry.
It’s completely related only to racial bonus stats, they are gone.
I would be surprised if they complete left off “racism” between various races.
