I already know this topic is DOA with Gaijin the moment I click the “Create Topic” button below, but still, I got to try. Can you please, unlock the factions paratrooper squads, like you’ve done with the Soviets? Not to much to ask since you already have ONE squad unlocked, is it? Germany has three, all locked to their own BR level, but at least ONE should be unlocked. I personally would be happy if the level two OG-43 squad was unlocked because the supposed “Unique” weapon is no better then level one at best, and there already is a level one paratrooper squad which carries a better weapon. So, this is what I would do if you would unlock it, which I have no realistic vision that the Dev’s will.
I think all premium (Squads WE pay for) should come unlocked, or at least should be unlockable after we’ve bought X amount of squads, but that’s me. There comes a time when the player should get some benefits for financially supporting this company.
All para squads should have changeable weapon slot, there is no point to limiting them since the soviet paras, unless they planning to add another 10 para squad with different BRs just to milk some cash
Exactly, the Premium squads are over $$$ anyways and can only effectively be used on a few BRs, on one faction and can only be used every third spawn. ALL Premium squads should come unlocked like the Soviet BR5 paratroopers so you can equip them for ANY BR. Since Gaijin wants us to pay for the overpriced stuff, we should have some control on it so we can equip weapons WE bought or use the squads on any BR.
The best squads I have ever seen here were the 4 squads from last years Halloween zombie event…totally customizable with the soldier types and weapons for any BR…but these are also the ones that look the worst historically since the look like zombie fighters. And to think that all 4 squads were in ONE event.
Gajin really needs to learn that corporate greed gets the player base to eventually leave…just look at EA and Star Wars Battlefront…it should have been epic.
Yup, if they give us the squads for free then as far as I’m concerned they can lock it up just the way it is. However, if we are paying for it, and Lord knows I have given this company way too much money over the past 3 plus years that we should be able to change the weapons to whatever we want. I am punished because I have bought so many squads that I can’t use half of them because I am stacked at that BR level, so it was wasted money.
Gaijin needs to learn to take care of their paying customers, or those paying customers will eventually be spending their money elsewhere.
It’s pretty much a common theme when I post now. As a paying member it iritates me and it is hard to find a way to fix it for original players vs new ones. They realistically could offer a year pass that included premium, battle passes and access to all premium squads for the price of a new game or so…but that screws us over for squads we actually purchased.
And to think I am not even lucky enough to pull those old event squads…I don’t buy those BR5 squads because it would be pricey to get enough good ones to make a good faction lineup…and I have WAY more fun playing BR2/3.
Gaijin I think would unlock their premium squads and offer up the old legacy squads, “IF”, people in unison “DEMANDED” it. Gaijin does nothing unless their is a lot of pressure put on them, and it needs to be a vast amount of players applying pressure or things never change. As they say, there is power in numbers.
In my opinion all premium/event squads should have changable weapons as option. You wouldnt be able to unequip and use the premium gun on tt squad but you could remove the gun and change it to tt one if you wish to. I think it would boost up sales since people would buy squads with bad weapons just for their cosmetics or the premium boost
Exactly, this is what I have been pushing for in general for quite a while, just don’t seem to get a lot of others chiming in to support the idea. If we buy it, we should be able to modify the weapons, and if Gaijin wanted to lock the premium squad weapons to only that squad I would be fine with that, just let us add the weapon of our choosing. I would only change the weapons one of two reasons. 1: the weapons are not very good and a TT weapon would be better, or 2: I already have to many squads at that BR level, so I can use it in another level.
I feel like I am punished for buying more squads as I can’t use them all in the BR they’ve selected. So there should be “benefits” for the people financially supporting this game. Gaijin could give unlocked premium sqads and it wouldn’t cost them anything, other then the time it took to unlocked all the premium squad past and future. If nothing else, once you’ve bought X amount of premium squads, there should be a benefit like fully unlocking them. This might even help them sell more premium squads in the future. There are already half a dozen squads I might have bought that I passed on because I didn’t need it at that BR level, and I don’t want to be locked into that particular weapon.
