Sometimes I enjoy playing BR3 versus BR5. When you are in a group and one person is even one level higher the lower ranked BR person gets potentially upscaled two BR’s not one. I think they should have open BR matches you come at BR1 and there are BR5s you share a Lower BR bonus. This would provide insane diversity because it would allow all squads to play and provide incentive to better players coming in at lower BR’s to get higher % rewards. I never think of deserting if I am fighting two or three BRs higher only a challenge and it makes a loss not sting. Nothing is funnier than skunking a jet with a BR2 JU88. Ever see a jet try to slow down versus a much slower plane? They never win that fight.

Yeah we almost won with 2 BR3 players versus their BR5. I found the challenge enjoyable.

One of our group had his BRs set for another group we were playing with. We stick with BR3 USSR BR2 Germany BR5 US Japan.

I think I know whom you are referring to. But for him it was just because he didn’t want br+/-1… It really wasn’t because he enjoyed being uptiered.
What happened to us was just the result of… not having any loby chat yet, after 5 years(!!!) So one of us was set on Soviets 5 and rest 3… because there’s no way to communicate outside matches without any third party app.
We said meh, let’s just do it anyway. And soviet equipment being what it is… we of course almost won.
I almost wanted to suggest a 1 off where we all set up BR 1-2 USSR infantry squads only and go againt BR 5 in true soviet fashion. We did not lose because of us, we lost because the our team was just not equal to the task at hand. The Normandy match was on me and you. I started running at the cap too late but well worth raining mortars down on people constantly. It would be fun to see how many we can get going between the three of us. The para mortars are amazing. The fact they include an engineer makes it even sweeter. Literally just jump to the back of the map where they can only get you with guerillas.
To be fair, we carried the team the entire match. We could have a bit of fun at the end!

No, thank you. I definitely don’t want to encourage trolls to weaken their team by deliberately putting themselves at a disadvantage.
Especially considering that all the rewards would go to these trolls, who would then have to be carried by their teams.
It doesn’t make any sense whatsoever, just pure toxicity.
You can already go play customs where there’s no BR restriction.
