Uniform Customisation - Pouches matched to equipped weapon

Title says it all, but I believe uniform customisation should be cut back to selecting the general style of outfit/camouflage patterns (i.e., you pick either Zeltbahn poncho or a regular M36 blouse) whilst pouches should be, as they are in the likes of Hell Let Loose and Post Scriptum, matched to your currently equipped weapon or at the very least your soldier’s class.

Say you’ve got an American equipped with an M1 Carbine and you switch him back to an M1903 Springfield? Well, he goes from the US M1 Carbine’s pouches back to the M1923 webbing - this system would be fairly straightforward to implement because, after all, all the assets are already there, albeit applied piece-meal and at ludicrous prices in the form of the current poorly-thought-out and rather mediocre soldier customisation system.

An example of this in service is the old Silent Storm game - equip an MP40, you get the MP40s three-mag pouches, equip a Karabiner 98k, you get the Karabiner 98ks leather pouches, etc.

It would be the perfect system to adapt and solve a minor but rather annoying cosmetics issue, whilst retaining the microtransactions aspect of the overall uniform customisation and offering broader and more appealing options at that.

Should’ve been how it is since release.

Every soldier has rigging for random pouches already. Shouldn’t be an issue to add weapon-appropriate holsters. Including equipment like axes, pistols and mines.
