Ironically this thing, with the 100round drum mag is still maxing out at around 30kg; 22kg lighter than the Type 97 AT rifle.

So Japanese soldiers can use the Type 97 anti-tank gun and should also be able to use the Type 99 cannon infantry version
I feel like Enlisted troops are generally superhumans; the Soviet 82mm mortar is also 52kg, and somehow operable by 1 dude who can run around with both the tube, base plate, and all the necessary ammo. I wouldn’t be surprised if we soon see the 81mm M1 (~60kg).

Yeah, things like that are called videogames. Surprisingly it’s not reality.
oh yeah not complaining, but I’m saying that we don’t have to give the exclusive distinction of comically heavy weapons to Japan; everyone can enjoy wacky ahh weaponry like this.
