Because the Type 100 paratrooper rifle and Type 99 Sniper use the same ammo, a soldier receives only five more rounds upon picking the recon loadout. I think the squad would be stronger and more fun if they received the Type 97 sniper instead, or if the Type 100 came with more reserve ammo.
