Id like to point out that this historical accuracy thing is problematic due to fact that everyone seems to have different view on it.
One wants full historical accuracy with squads set up with BA’s 1smg and perhaps 1mg.
Next wants what we currently have - time travellers
Next wants what we currently have - time travellers BUT “arguably could have been there equipments”
Next is more intrested of uniforms that appear to have wrong sport-lace shoelaces.
Etc, while the “Historically accurated” subject should be simple as was it there or not. It seems in this forums theres as many variations of historical accuracy as there are supporters of the idea.
Which is why I find it rather impossible to satisfy them all, which most likely is the reason they are given the custom games as theyr playground where every each “historically accurated” view can be made.

As someone who’s mainly bean watching the comments from the side, there’s two type of people.
“People asking for some kind of historical accuracy” - they ask for different things whether simple or not involving historical accuracy and are giving suggestions etc.
“Anti-historical accuracy people” - they are simply anti-the people who want historical accuracy. Instead of just giving proper counter arguments they usually insult and name call the people who want historical accuracy. Calling them complainers yet I can go back and find plenty of times these people complained about something.
The first group has refrained from insults and demeaning comments. The anti group is just simply anti, I don’t think they really care, they’re just simply against the other group for no apparent reason I can see so far.

The first group showed lack of reading skill or simply understand what people are saying because most of them dont even read the news they simply moved the finger on the keybord, most of them whas ghost user who posted only for rant or new “fresh” user who dont even say hello before start typing nonsense
I read all the conversation this morning a nice reading in meantime im gonna drink my milk, and the mostly argoument of the first group are always the same

Now some of them give suggestion mostly was a letter for santa, but they tried
Second group instead after giving some decent answer based on what james,keo or simply what is written on news site, start shitpost when the already mentioned lack of reading people come

It’s so fucking annoying trying to discuss this topic rationally with them. It all just boils down to “Well there’s still Custom Games” or “You’re in the minority, people don’t want this” which would completely bypass them reading my actual point and suggestion. They just dissent because they want to. There is nothing wrong with our posts and for people who say they don’t care, they really DO care, like a lot to be continuing this long with this.
I’ve only been able to communicate with a few of them and present some ideas if this went through, but no one wants to hear about how to preserve it with the system in the main game.

That is still reasonable to expect from players at the end game.
They aren’t doing that this update, no guarantee they won’t do it in the future, should they follow through with abandoning accuracy.
Considering they are merging campaigns, which have different squads, of which might also be merged, those squads could have outfits on them that cost money. This is a legitimate claim, just like the campaign slots that cost extra money. A lot of people don’t make enough money a year to enjoy seeing it get burned away by a change like this.
Pretty much the same response from people who don’t want historical accuracy. I’ve seen more of this than actual suggestions though. Everything has been parroted from Keo’s posts instead of actually thinking about it.

It’s really hard to read through all the spelling mistakes. That’s probably why you get misinterpreted a lot, if you do actually mean well.
People have read the news, they’re asking for clarification and are against some of the things they announced. Have you actually read the news? If you had, you’d know literally only one of the examples you provided of “historically accurate” players complaining about was something clarified as not happening within this update (Japanese in Normandy). Everything else is confirmed or could be speculated to be true based off how they described the system.
People keep calling the historical accurate crowd in the minority, using that as an argument against any of our points. So yes, people are making it a Majority vs. Minority issue rather than focusing on the topic at hand, being the changes they presented and the suggestions elsewise.
How long are we supposed to wait? Are you telling me that you’ll actually debate the points presented instead of saying “You’re in the minority” or “There are still more devblogs” after the Q&A? Nothing is “fake news” either. We aren’t media outlets, just merely people disliking proposed changes alongside speculating the good and the bad outcomes of said change as we have the ability to think past one update.

I honestly don’t care if we have or don’t have historical accuracy as long as I don’t see t-72 tank and M16 assault rifle in Moscow.
What we will get is historically accurate maps with historically accurate nations fighting with hist acc uniforms. There are no red dots and tactical scopes which means we are using historically accurate equipment from 1941-1945
