Two extremely frustrating things

Hey. I have some annoying gameplay aspects I’d like to point out. I’ll suggest a change for each one, though I’m sure there’s other ways to improve. These are just things I think will annoy everybody at some point.

  1. Body blocking friendly soldiers. Even AP tank rounds will stop dead if a teammate decides to stand in front. AI changes to move them out of the way has helped some, but they still do it.
    Suggested change: Treat friendly soldiers as light cover (bullets penetrate with reduced damage to targets behind), keep friendly fire off.

  2. The way tank crew shuffles around when exiting/entering the vehicle, is bad. I don’t have loader+gunner perk on every tanker, but after getting out to repair or capture a point, they refuse to get back in their old seats. Commander also should not be prioritized over driver+gunner.
    Suggested change: ? - Many options, prefer giving the player more control over how the crew organize themselves into the different roles.
    I would also say that driver>gunner>commander in terms of importance. The commander does nothing on his own.

I would like to see a more in depth tank crew system where you may select designated roles for crew mates.

The tank crew shuffling needs to be addressed. I’ve spent alot of time getting my perfect 5 star Jumbo crew with all the seat specific perks. Knowing the second I get out to repair most of those perks won’t work anymore is frustrating.

Yeah I agree that it does get annoying. They should either not all exit the tank or they should return to their pervious seat when re-entering.

Although last time I tested, which was a while ago, the only tank specific perk that seemed to actually work was the gunner perk. Which allows you to move the gun/gunsight diagonally.

the ai should man the hatch mg and fire it for you(if you want)
