Any game, regardless of what it is, when it is divided into two sides and is multiplayer is competitive by autonomy.

One of the great things about Enlisted is that it is rather small. This means there are less mainstream streamers and youtubers making content about it. Games where people cover it often (like Warzone, COD, R6S, ect. ect.) are full of tryhards. Enlisted does not really suffer from this issue, but if they added things like tournaments, they it might attract more content creators, creating a more hardcore experience for the casual gamer, as the content creators most likely have more experience playing the game, and better gear.
