Just to clarify, My meaning was; nothing wrong with the gears “usability”. The OP’s post was expressing a distaste with the “usability” of the gear, and how shit its performance all was. Which isnt the reason for the stomping’s because alot (Not all) of the gear is quite excellent.
If you are talking about variety or unique weapons to attract players (which you are) sure. I wont argue with that.

I think this blood*y merge has got people thinking why grind x campaign, after merge I will already have a better version elsewhere, which defeats point of playing… you may as well JUST play Berlin, Normandy to get best of everything. (This mindset is my concern and why merge is not the silver bullet imho)
Tunisia with a couple of good players can be really fun, it’s a different play style to Normandy, Berlin, if anything it is kind of like pacific, long ranges, use of CAS, Smoke to cove advances etc
But because of Merge, popularity of allies to win, mainly due to how lack of reward (XP grind) for losing, to get to Marshall for example, why do people bother with weaker, losing side, it won’t get them enough XP, it won’t get them to Marshall, it is unfortunately one of the fundamental reasons people don’t like the hard fight on Enlisted.
And how someone in early level with only the ab41 and m41 can use it before reach the lv32? Or have it in the garage give superpower?
It is level 18 for pzIV J not 32, but even that is an uphill struggle when against fully equipped experienced players.
The only way low level can progress is playing matches with people like myself honestly, we bring the CAS, the Armour to help them whilst they charge with BAs against HMG, Sherman II. And Grants!

Yeah because it has crappy 50mm instead 75mm of M41 entire balance is whack in favor of Allies they even got multiple event squads while Axis got nothing. Lack of players on Axis players is the result of DarkFlow giving them new toys constantly. Only merge can save that campaign.
