Because we already have lots of toxic meta guns in regular progression, I decided to spend my gold order on something meme instead. And since single-shot bolt-action from XIX century isn’t available anymore, my choice was pistol-caliber bolt-action with integrated suppressor (sounds fun, right?)
But for some reason, devs decided to BALANCE gun that is USELESS by definition, by giving it rof of 110. Therefore completely destroying the only thing you could possibly buy a bolt-action for - bolt cocking animation after every shot.
So instead of funny bolt-action I’ve got m1 carbine ripoff. And as a bonus - the only pistol that covers half of the screen, which makes it completely useless in cqc.
Please, reduce De-liste rpm to 50-60, nobody asked joke gun to be useful, it should be satisfying instead. And move Welrod away from camera.
Or give me gold order back, I’ll buy yet another toxic piece of balance.

It is indeed possible to try stuff in editor… but it’s a hassle, when you could simply click “try” like for premium squads on the buying page…
The scenarios like the one you described would at least become rare: ppl would know what they spend their gold on before the transaction becomes final.

Yes, kiraly and Mkb H are better and free, but this doesn’t make gold ones less OP (compare to MP28, MP38/40, MP35/I, Beretta). Probably BR will solve this problem, but I’m not sure.
It’s got worse recoil than the majority of the SMGs you can get in Normandy and Pacific, and that ROF is to the point where it just wasteful. The Hyde or the M2A1 are better SMGs IMO, and neither are OP by any stretch of the imagination.
In Tunisia, you have the drum Thompson though, which outclasses it by just about every metric. Even if you don’t count that, the M1A1 Thompson and the overstamp Thompson and even the campaign unlock Lanchester are do everything the Gold Order Lanchester can do and more effectively, as you waste less ammo. Hell, even the BSA Thompson is better as the recoil is more tolerable, the ROF doesn’t waste as much ammo and the recoil is even easier to deal with.
