Why does the P-40 have 2x 100lb bombs which equals about 90kg of explosive mass, while the Re. 2001 has a 250kg bomb, when the P-40 has a proper alternative of a 500lb bomb? I’m not asking for a nerf to the Re. 2001 because Tunisia Axis could use better planes, but the P-40 should have a roughly equivalent payload if possible, which in this case is more than possible. Please give the P-40 the 500lb bomb.
Might be an error on their part, it seams logical they would intended to use the 500
It was too late to provide the Italian side with the advantageous weapons.

Well I think the P-40 is just a ways to give allies a fighter with bombs, basic bombs at that.
It’s a shame the Re.2001 gets mogged by the G.55 so badly, I really like the blacked out appearance.
