Tunisia - Open plains?

Ngl, for the Tunisia campaign I was expecting a bit less urban warfare and a bit more open terrain/trenches/maneuver warfare, especially as we’re concerning the Southern front held by Italian forces coming up against the Commonwealth drive north… I’d like to see a map or two with open plains for tank maneuvering that was so iconic of the NA campaign, as well as some hilltop strongpoints for the Commonwealth infantry to assault. Also - did I miss the inclusion of Indian troops? I thought this was mentioned but I haven’t seen it.

The maps are way too open as it is and allies have blatantly better tanks, tunisia would be more of a spaghetti slaughterfest than it already is.

As for commonwealth troops i’m with you on that one would love to see some indian dudes running about

Wouldn’t be hard to put in better axis tanks, they were all there. Shit, they had Tigers in the field. Aside from which, Axis would be defending entrenched positions on these maps (Mareth line), which would nullify the Allied advantage.

As an aside, Kasserine would also be nice map to include.

Yeah, I was hoping for late game tigers vs churchills or something. I think tank destroyers in general don’t work in enlisted so the semovente is utter trash, its only use is killing grants which the stuka does just fine. Axis severely lacks good infantry support on tunisia

I dunno, I only tried my first SPG yesterday (Jagdpanzer) in Berline and I immediately ambushed and killed like 5 T-34s. Felt a little OP even, which makes sense because it’s a premium item, but still.

Wait until you meet a player who knows what he is doing. t34 doesn’t have great defence against axis tanks either
