Tunisia is a failure

im kidding about that word fake  ofc it wasnt fake, though they felt sudden need to put it in moscow…but hey there is no guarantee there wont come some bonkers weapons to tunis , m1a1 thompson eventually hit tunis in this game and quite early just because of its stats, m1 carbine, m1 thompson, m1 garand…

i ve done some research about that gun when it was announced here and it was meant for use in new zealand home island as second line infantry support in case of japanese invasion, they didnt know if they would have enough coomonwealth guns so they converted their obsolete enfield rifles to this so they could have more MGs on strategic emplacements, MGs that could be taken by the infantry to the fight in case of emergency and shit, i mean its a cool gun, in the squad description its said that new zealand troops fought in tunis but i havent found if charltons were a thing they used … lets say maybe they were ? idk

thats literally what i said

check the stats dude but there are very minor differences, base m38/42 has even bigger vertical recoil though less horizontal, 0,2 faster reload speed , 0,1 more weight than base M1  either way its the same beretta that was in CBT tunis and everyone mocked about its performance agains drum mag thompson that brits used then

There are people who will agree that m1a1 thompson was a scarce in tunis if there was any

I dont want to see garands just because its more bearable than m2 carbine, i want to see new guns completely , same for the germans

there was such

I agree to some extend.
IMO the Semo isnt usefull yet as its unnecessary to counter the A-13 and the Daimler and just for the Grant… at least I dont encounter enough Grants to replace my M13 with the Semo.
Gonna be interesting once we get Shermans, Crusader and Churchills though.

Oh, my bad then lol.

I hope so because I really enjoy these guns you’d never find in any other game about ww2. Almost all of them only has the most common ones so I really enjoy learning about these weird designs that flew completely under my radar until now. Enlisted has a great mix of the common guns everyone wants and the ones that rarely even get mentioned and I really like this.

I don’t even want to know my win/loss ratio for axis is. I think I win maybe 1 out of 5-7 games. And that’s only when I have other semi good players on my team. Most of the time I’m either by myself with bots or console players. No matter how ā€œtry hardā€ you play, you cannot win.

There was a challenge to win 3 games in Tunisia, somehow i started on Axis side and become very frustrated that i lost 3 games in a row, then i realised why i’m even bothering. Joined allies and won in 3 games in 4, challenge done.

About Tunisia:
I got impression that axis overall have much worse small arms. I unlocked NZ gunner squad and those Charlston rifles are just obliterating every axis gun at early level. Sten is also better than all those axis smg’s. Maybe only fully upgraded MP40 can compare. .Maybe it’s meant to be like Berlin - early levels are grindy and later it will get easier for axis, but almost no competent players play Tunisia anymore on axis side. I doubt a lot of players want another Berlin 2.0 grind till unlocks something decent when they can have fun in Normandy. Another problem is lack of engineers/rally points in early games.

Have you tried using the smgs? The sten gun is not better than anything the axis get, whith the the possible exception of the mp28 since it’s got 10 fewer rounds.

The sten gun has been ignored for a year on normandy but suddenly it’s op on Tunisia.

Is Tunisa still awful for Axis? haven’t played in a while.

It’s certainly not got any worse, Most of the allied players seem to have disappeared so it’s more tolerable.

I played tunisia axis to max level before the recent update, and never really felt outgunned, except by the charolton squad. Going back and playing as the allies, I haven’t really changed my opinion yet, although its still early (Not quite level 9 on allies yet). The charolton is an incredible weapon, since it has a controllable fire rate, good accuracy, and a large mag. You don’t mow people down, you drop one or two bullets into each of them and wipe a whole squad with 12 rounds.

Outside of that, the sten is comparable to the mp 28, both are pretty poor guns. Later on, the axis gets its choice of two good semi auto rifles, one more controllable the other with a larger mag. For smgs you have a high damage high fire rate close in murderer that is the ovp or well rounded and stable smgs in the mp40 and berettas. The ZB is a pretty good lmg. The GBR is a solid anti tank weapon. The M13 is a better overall tank than the Daimler and A13, and the semo is awkward but effective. Basically, axis is fine, charolton squad is kinda bs, and I’m guessing that most of the difference between the two sides is the result of differences in player base, not equipment. It is after all the lowest tech campaign, the basic ass equipment never stops being relevant, and hey, the armagurrea is probably better than the m1.
