Please allow Tunisia to be played as BR4
With recent balance changes it would be fun to use Tiger where it was used, Allies now have firefly, jumbo etc

There must be a limit though, not BR5

If you say no, please can you state reason why?

So that I can choose what maps to play : BR1 - BR3 = Tunisia, Moscow, Stalingrad.
BR3- BR5 = Normandy, Berlin etc

I hate the idea to open up all BRs to all maps, takes away variety gameplay.

Tunisia’s maps are too open for that. Some BR3 tanks are already causing a lot of trouble when they’re in the gray zone. BR4 will make things even worse. The 88mm and 90mm will make these maps as nasty as the Pacific Ocean.

And yes, I don’t want to see Panthers and Jacksons in Tunisia.

dont forget the calliope is br 4 so thats something to worry about aswell

One shot one kill in racks, not a real threat, I have it but only good in certain circumstances

I don’t want to be sent to Tunisia with my time travelling Panther or play BR3 and see Sherman 76mm in Africa, and have to quit even more matches.

This argument is irrelevant post merge… there are already enough instances of such and using it as an excuse to not open up the restricted map pool is rather silly.

Regardless of your lineup others will still be a-historical so once again your argument is irrelevant…

Wow you have to leave more games talk about it buddy i already do that it’s nothing to get angry at i’m sure we both play with passive -20% anyway

However, this was originally a mechanism to protect the Moscow and Tunisia maps from future guests like the IS-2 and the King Tiger. As long as there are any ties between battle rating and maps, Tunisia is not expected to appear at BR 4 or 5.

Okay, but what if I want to play tunisia with an MG42 or a Tiger? Both were used there. In fact, you can use mounted MG42s inside the bunkers. North Africa is where the first Tigers were deployed

Personally I prefer to sacrifice seeing Tigers in Africa, if that means I don’t have to see STG 45, Panther and Sherman 76mm which were never there.

Similarly, even though Tigers, Panther and Ferdinands were used at Kursk, I would not want to see Kursk with T-34-85 or IS-2 because those didn’t exist in 1943.

No because if you want to use the Tiger in Tunisia just because it was used there, you have to take into account all the other IV tanks as well (Panther ecc.), and it will be beautiful for grayzoning

So if I want to use gear that made a historic appearance in Tunisia, I should just go get screwed because it means you have to see more late war gear than what is already, as of right now, present inside Tunisia?

My preference would be sacrificing the Tiger if it inevitably brought along the Panther, indeed.
