I need help for the past 3 days I can’t get a single win in Tunisia. Hours upon hours of games and its always a once sided slaughter where I can barely build a spawn point (usually the only one) and the team either gets pushed back or the allies are near our initial spawns and are farming us.
Almost level 18, squads kitteded out with upgraded weapons and engineers and Europe/Eastern Europe for server.
Even as axis Tunisia player, I would pass of tiger 1. at least until they find a way to balance/segregate low-high tier tank. I don’t want to fight an A13 in Tiger or let my friendly fight Churchill in AB41.
Well, historically, the axis faction in Tunisia should be played from the mg42 to the tiger, among other good things, I just hope they know how to balance them correctly
Take my words with a pinch of salt since i’m still a low level player on the Tunisian front but i feel like its because the Axis starting weapons are kind of inferior/conter intuitiv to use.
The carcano can shot fast and reload fast but its spread a lot, where the enfield and sprinfield are almost laser accurate even not upgraded but shot slower, but at rifle range i woudl take accuracy over ROF every day of the week
The MG28 suffer vs the sten mk2 both in ammo count mag size and Rof thus is an inferior assault weapons.
The carcano with scope spread quite a lot and is more of a scout mid range scoped rifle (same damage profile but its spread way more) where the scoped springfield is deadly up to 300m at long range and accurate.
What feel very strange is tha ton paper guns are very close on both side yet i always find that when i use Allies guns it just “feels right”
84% allied winrate on tunisia with more than 100 battles, also most loses were one day when axis suddenly got more than 2 players per team.
I guess try playing with 3 more people in team, soon allies will be maxed and bored, half inviasion matches don’t go first point.
I have been playing Tunisia, i started lvl both sides at once, to lvl 9, Engineers yay, each, then i thinking, if i can get semi auto on axis inf, that will help, so i played them through to lvl 13 atm, allied still lvl 9
I think it because of same issue i see on Normandy allies, is the timer, on Normandy, if your allies, there is no 30 sec timer, same if your Axis, in Tunisia, you join the game within 1-15 sec,
Yet playing as Allies Tunisia, and Axis as On Normandy, you definitely have the timer, from 30-1min, i find
There not time for the the Axis on Tunisia, and the allied on Normandy to get real players.
As someone mentioned Atm, the teams are so loped sided, as the Allied on Tunisia, and the axis on Normandy, have nearly a full team of real people, where as the Axis Tunisia, and Allied in Normandy, have 1-3 max real people.
If timers where set even for both sides, it might be different, also i note that most players are in custom battles, as they don’t wish to fight real people, in the normal mode anyway.
When i have looked at list of customs battle, it seems like top 5 are full, and rest are just people playing against bots to grind, with out facing a full team both sides with real people.
Which takes players away from the 4 campaigns mode, in normal mode.
donno… i leveled the axis campaign in tunisia in 2 weeks or so when it was released for us to level it. and i didnt had problems with neither gear or winning matches as an axis player…
right now i m 20 or 21 as alies there, and i find the campaign so boring that i m loosing interest in playing there…
i might be wrong here (since i didnt saw my stats yet) but i m sure i lost way more matches on alies side than on all levels as axis in tunisia, and people still call it unbalanced to play as axis. they have enough toys, to win a match.
It’s 80-85% a population issue. Not many people are playing Axis in Tunisia, leaving only a handful of players against almost whole teams of Allies. It’s still not a perfect campaign other than that, but a lot of the problems are with the lack of players I’d say.
Used to be steamrolled by British with saddening regularity… Yesterday instead, out of 2 destruction defenses played, somehow both times we smacked down the Tea Boys without letting them take even the first line of objectives.
Well an update. The losses continue but they did become a bit more close fought yesterday. Finally got the Sermovente so I can shut down the allied tanks with extreme prejudice. That and the beauty that is the Pavesi in the hands of my best engineer are making a small difference I think.
At the moment it does seem to favor the Allies more just like Normandy did awhile back. Maybe Axis will start winning more if players see something interesting worth grinding for.
The Grant spam and superiority of early tiers Allies SMG and LMG do indeed make axis suffer a lot…
Also the fact the Allies armor and flying tool have better anti-infantery power in a game with 80% of target are infantery hammer the nail a bit deeper…
24shots breda with long reload and 20 shot infantery breda that wobble all over the place, does hurt a lot…
Vicker have horrible sight(yes) but its butter smooth to use
Sten is a slaughter SMG compared to mp28 but bereta38 help rebalance the SMG field but you have to unlock it.
Tunisia is complete one way slaughter. Already leveled up allies with Lancasters, Vickers Berthiers,Thompsons & Charltons vs axis with bolt-action rifles.
On Normandy i get (roughly) 60-70% winrate as axis, Berlin it’s about 50/50, on Tunisia just played 5 matches as axis and won only one, even then only because there was quite decent team finally.
Also Tunisia axis weapons are trash, especially Carcanos. I still have no clue how to aim/quick shot with them, i miss all the shots. On Berlin/Normandy i almost always can make precise 1-shots with Kar, VG rifle but Carcano is not the case. Even played a couple matches with Tunisia Allies, with Enfields & SMLE’s i can even make precise hits from 10 meter distance without zooming in but Carcanos (all models) are complete miss.
Right now no motivation to grind Tunisia at all. For what? To receive some crappy Italo-tankwith 20km/h speed when distances between objectives are 200m and gain Beretta m38 in the end? And teams full of bots all the way. Thanks but no thanks.
