Yea, that’s why I didnt bother to pay for it. The devs can’t do justice to real battles, where it was hard for both sides. In the case of a game, let the better player/strategist win, not the aim assist aimbotters and fat tankers.
Haven’t lost a single battle as the axis there today so far.
Yea, I havent tried Tunisia, but still playing Normandy.
Normandy is the worst the game has to offer all-around
Not My experience. Why do people always get caught up on stats on paper. In a game where the first to shoot accurately first wins, It matters not a gnats dick how much damage its stat card says.
Truth of the matter is, that players in general are too passive to do what is required to win, especially in invasion. It’s all about being aggressive. 90% of invasion games feel like easy wins to me because the opposite team always camp windows and roof tops that have no value to the objective. Makes it easy for 1 or 2 aggressive players to storm the point, or Sally out.
Most defence games end without attacking players ever setting foot on objective.
Most offensive games snow ball if 1 or two players keep the blitzkrieg momentum up.
I play britz and feel like it’s nothing but stomping the Italians. So I went and played Italians and still stomped. You can’t balance passive players. All the best equipment in the World won’t change that
I always see this “Axis is always losing” post on here, reddit, and facebook, yet I don’t ever experience this in game. I played 4 rounds as the Axis on Tunisa today as a free to play account so all I have is the basic bolt action rifles and I won 3 of the matches. When Tunisa opened up for everyone, I lost my first 4 matches as the allies. The teams that lose are usually the team that is too passive and are allergic to the objective, the same as any other FPS with objective game modes.
M41 carcano slaps. No reason to choose the Kar over it.
Second only to the M38 carcano sniper which is the only sniper I’m aware of with no downside.
You get a scope with short enough zoom to use anywhere, good iron sights, and you can reload with clips instead of single rounds.
I use my sniper squad as my basic infantry squad.
I have also seen the German side just out right abandon the point, not even a single soldier as garrison, on Normandy
Just had a match like this, we took the first cap without really any issue, the German defenders then decided to camp a mile away from the second point on MG42s, yeah they got us coming out of the first cap but but after that we practically walked up onto the second cap and there was no one there.
uuuuh, i havent played allies in tunisia yet
i have walked all over incoming enemies as i defended, so idk what wepns ur usin but im usin the default ones, since im f2p. also i am doing better in tunisia axis then i have in any other faction or campaign.
It’s almost frustrating when it happens when the attackers have less than 100 tickets left and the team is on the first point still
The good news is that they have added a new mechanic that I had been hoping for. Smoke barrage. This is one of the best ways of spurring on an overly passive team.
First order of business, build rallies to encourage team mates to be where you want them to be. Second, identify they battle lines and drop smoke artillery to shift them where you want.
One person can manipulate the field quite alot.
I’ve been doing it flat out. Smoke is a real mvp, but people only go for kills so you don’t see it much.
they do that because a lot of squads are stuck up front, while the next attacker wave starts spawning and get to the 2nd point first. That’s bs
Well, that’s because you met good team. I know Lowka214, a Chinese player who often team up with other people via online calling software.
While I usually wont team with other friends because I want to play freely.
I dont want to share my scoreboard screenshots, since I dont intend to show K/D and other other statistics. But I usually at 1~3 place of the team.
Oh, nvm, you are the guy posted TAM Sq. reply before? Muted.
I assume your team has 5 human players (most left earlier), the opponent had 9. Seems like your time zone/server selection or luck does not match mine, as when I played yesterday for example, Allies lost (over 400 or 500 tickets remained for Axis attackers.)
Also I liked the Italians, the weapons and voices are fun.
Yeah because that will totally cause them to abandon the point while they were about to win
The biggest problem is people will depending on the time of day and day of the week, stack the hell out of one side and play against mostly bots, resulting in landslide losses over and over against the few people playing the unpopulated side.
This preceived imbalance is going to keep going on until Gaiflow adds in a bonus for joining the unpopulated side or leaving “join any side” checked. Our an “Outnumbered” xp bonus modifier for palying through a match with more human players on the otherside.
They could also lock the faction that’s completely stacked temporarily once it reaches a threshold. Unfortunately, a lot of people in this game bring their bizarre fringe political beliefs into the game and project them hard, so it would upset a lot of self-described X/Y mains being forced to play the other side.
As it stands there’s no motivation to be a good sport and deal wit the punishing losses. I just jump from faction to faction, whoever is currently stacked to hell and I farm bots with everyone else. Trouble is I don’t feel as smug as most seem to feel about getting so many EPIC WINS.
my main beef with the italian side is they speak a lot of german.
The only thing the axis side suffers of in every campaign are intracranial injuries as a direct result of being hurled at a ludicrous speed against a variety of solid objects.
Their health is quite concerning.
