Personal i love to the new squads that operate Trunks, but trunks don’t have armor or HMG mounted in top, so what make they different from half trunks?
is that they will be used has transport then will be discarded, unlike the armored personal carrier that will provide cover for the troops.
so, the suggestion is. when i leave the trunk behind to deploy my troops, IT WILL continue to be a rally point.
is that OP?, not really. since a abandoned trunk is a lot more easy to find that a rally point. It is a matter to quick deploy troops AND a rally in front line
morse code will be interesting to, since it is a rally has well.
cheers
Now i thinker a bit more, i a see this topic is genius.
why?, because think a moment, if a trunk is a mobile rally point that moves, it means that will be parked somewhere, when the cap zone is captured, and new one will appear. so anyone in team will spawn and relocate the trunk.
we need to think in everything, SO. only 2 trunks should be in battlefield, and they should be a light vehicle cap, so two heavy vehicles, two light vehicles.
then, the trunk will easy a lot our logistics, what is what a trunk does in war.
cheers.
America should’ve gotten the M5 Halftrack for compensation on not getting the M3 Halftrack first. Larger troop capacity to boot

More of those units will come in time, the important thing NOW.
is to discuss the tactical mechanic of this new asset.
cheers.

I’m pretty sure they will still work as rallies until destroyed. The article says “while they are in one piece”, so sounds like you can drive it to position and leave it there and it’ll continue to work until destroyed, like the APCs and engineer built rallies.

I would make ethey fragile at the point when you shoot around 10 bullets in the right spot it blows.
but i don,t think it will be the engine since those trucks have considerable armor.
maybe it will have a rally inside the trunk? one thing is dure, somewhere must be a part of the vehicle whit can be destroyed relative easy,
