Man it was awful, played one match, super soldiers that can sprint across the map in one minute. Enlisted has ruined that game for me, for all time.

Yea sometimes when playing Enlisted all I can think about is how BFV managed to mess it up so badly… It’s free and a 10x better WW2 game with equal if not more content, so much potential for future and it just launched Beta

More content is useless when it’s locked behind a massive amount of grinding. Can’t believe an EA game like Battlefront 2 is more fair and reasonable in it’s progression than a game like this.
I get your point, but I wouldn’t say its that massive amount of grinding, but yea thats the downside of its being free rather than €59.99 like Battlefront… I have 65 hours and have already reached maximum level for Axis powers on the Normandy campaign, unlocking everything, and I’m level 10 for the Moscow campaign, with at least 100 bronze card orders for logistics
Plus if you really enjoy the game, you can pay just €9.99 for Premium which gives you a massive XP boost so you grind towards the content faster, Isn’t a bad price.

That’s how lazy F2P games do it. Any good F2P games make money from cosmetics instead of adding useless grinding which is easily done here with how many people play CoD just to buy cool skins for their character and guns or even TF2.

I disagree, since the grind gives people the incentive and excitement of unlocking new content, in my opinion cosmetics are a waste of development time and only for children, ruin immersion/feeling of shooters, especially WW2. Not only that but it just gives away your location easy with dumb bright colors or shining gold.
Either way seems they are following same model as War Thunder, which has thousands of players and I’m fine with that, the game is great but yes the grind can be tiresome. Just buy premium that lasts for 1 month, makes the progress much more enjoyable
No one said anything about bright colors.There’s so many cosmetic ideas you can pull from actual history like camo uniforms for the Germans or helmets for the US. There’s a difference between normal grind and stuff literally made to force you to spend money to even enjoy. Enlisted falls into the latter and is pretty much a glorified mobile game at this point. Even has you roll for weapons with RNG and needing multiple copies of stuff to upgrade your rating like some bad gacha game. Only reason people put up with War Thunder is because it’s the only decent tank game. Enlisted is just another WW2 FPS but now it’s filled with stuff most FPS players don’t want to deal with aka micromanaging their own squads and logistics

Ok fair point you’re right realistic cosmetics would make sense, War Thunder already has these cosmetics, so eventually they will add them just have bigger priorities
People play War Thunder because its free and is an amazing if not the best aircraft/tank simulator. They’re trying to do the same but with added infantry, its expected this would happen
I love being able to manage squads and logistics, choosing different loadouts for my Squad, its what makes this game unique, I’ve rarely touched the “Lone Survivors” gamemode since its what I’ve experienced from WW2 shooters for decades now, Squads does something different and the AI will surely get better as we go on
But yea just seems this game isnt for you and thats fine, everyone has their different tastes. Still hilarious as hell how Enlisted beats BFV and has been received better lol

Yeah, generally you are locked in one campaign if you dont want to spend hundred of dollars so you dont play with sticks and stones in another campaign.
