Trees that cannot be destroyed remain indestructible all the time

Yes, the latest official announcement says the bug preventing satchel charges from felling trees has been patched

One question lingers: Could all trees be blown up by explosives in the early game, or did developers only fix a small portion of trees that were undestroyable purely because of glitches?

After field tests on the Rzhev and Berlin maps, ornamental trees planted on concrete bases alongside roads still withstand satchel explosions. Thick trees with tangled root systems on Pacific maps cannot be demolished either. Tanks have to accelerate to 20 to 30 speed for a powerful ram to possibly knock them over, yet most tree trunks remain untouched.
If you watch recent YouTube gameplay clips, even the Panzer II can easily plow through most trees while driving through woodland areas
The durability stats of trees on Pacific maps are confusing and unrealistic. Ordinary trees in real life would never stand against high-speed tank collisions, but the game’s parameter settings are ridiculously inflated.

In conclusion, this update only restored blast destructibility to trees disabled by previous bugs. All foliage originally marked indestructible cannot be damaged no matter explosives or tank rams. The whole adjustment is half-hearted.
I once thought DF had solved a long-standing tricky problem, but it turns out they merely rolled back mistakes introduced in earlier updates after going in circles.

I feel a lot of tree block vehicles when you should be able to run them over. Like those tiny cherry blossom looking ones.

It’s no longer just about whether tanks can knock trees down. The durability values for foliage are clearly thrown together randomly. Some trees get flattened easily when you ram them, while others act like immovable obstacles.
Trees across all Pacific maps are practically as hard as diamond; nothing can take them down.

I’ve played War Thunder for years, and nearly every tree there can be crushed effortlessly.
These are vehicles weighing tons! It’s ridiculous that ordinary trees can block tank shells here.
It’s incredibly frustrating, especially watching my tank rounds get intercepted by tree trunks.

Wasting tank ammunition to destroy trees is a terrible use of time and breaks your combat rhythm. No one wants to do it, yet you’re often forced to. This is especially noticeable on Normandy. Dead branches and thick foliage block sightlines and favour infantry assaults, which is infuriating.
Worse still, you hesitate to ram them with your tank.

The contrast between the two games is staggering. War Thunder’s tree physics are far more realistic by comparison.

U can easily put down tree but idk which caliber is the most effective one, but u can 1 tap a tree as long as use explosives on its roots by roots i mean the tree trunk touching the ground.

But ye sometimes explosions doesn’t work

HE shells such as the autocannon ammunition of Kugelblitz and Skink work great for blowing up tree roots. There are barely any open plains in this game, with Omaha Beach being the sole exception. Uneven terrain hides most tree roots, so players can hardly take out trees using artillery fire.

Lets wait until they implement the tree damage like they did in war thunder

WT delivers detailed destruction where trees break into multiple pieces under shellfire. Yet trees in Enlisted rarely topple even after being shot, stubbornly blocking the player’s line of sight

Cant wait for infantry cutting trees in half with mg fire

Since it’s specific asset issues you’d have to send screenshots of the problematic trees
Otherwise it won’t help much

Forest with the pink flowers on the A point side of the map Chateau du Bosq is completely impassible even for a tiger.

If this data can help developers carry out bug fixes, I’m willing to locate problematic trees one by one for testing.

Yeah exactly. These problematic trees are the most annoying obstacle. At the third-last defensive strongpoint, a belt of trees on the right forms an impenetrable barrier that blocks all tanks, and artillery shells cannot penetrate through either. By the time you waste ammo clearing these trees, enemy infantry have already sneaked in from the left flank. Worse still, the terrain here is uneven. A flat ground would have been far easier to handle, as the uneven pits make it tough to aim accurately at tree trunks with cannon shells.
