Being able to share/give anything would be a welcome feature.
Sharing unwanted weapons/tech would be good. I mean, that was done in real life.
Even if it was just low rank or ‘reserve’ weapons (upgraded) as a way to encourage beginners.
Like I invite a friend to play Enlisted (new customer for DF), and I can give him some spare Springfields or MP28s or whatever to help him along a bit.
That might seem like a silly idea but I do understand the issue if people could just give their mates T20 rifle or MG15 straight up.
We already have a sell option which doesnt do much (profit return is so minimal its almost non existent) so yeah would be cool if you could sell/give to other players.
I’d rather transfer RP from one nation to another.
But that’s also not likely to happen.
It will never happen.
Shoot, I don’t even having a problem with gifting top tier stuff. A major pro of all of this is it would open up the game for trading.
I have some event and premium squads I barely or never use and would be happy to trade them.
also open the game to scamming and outright theft
yeah…
as much i’m open for charity,
i wouldn’t want someone breaking into others account ( or mine out of all ), and give points left and right.
i’m sure the support would eventually help out.
but they are not going to have a field day with this.
Trading could bring the community together and could possibly elevate the games overall appeal.
Just look at how it changed counterstrike.
If assets could be resold or traded, the value of such items could grow exponentially. A whole enlisted economy could be born from just being able to trade.
In any case, if the situation were to change where player accounts were highly sought after, that could only be good for the owners. Theft will always be an issue. It’s the side effect of having something highly sought after. If Enlisted players are ever plagued by theft, dark flow might be doing something right.
It also could just be a total shit show. But as folks here have said, probably won’t happen.
I bet this could be abused in a thousand different ways.
Sell xp on the black market
- Chinese bot farmers
No doubt! Would absolutely need regulation.
Even things like XP could be a tradable asset!
Yeah could be cool. Could be crazy.
