The Season Pass only gives a few Upgrade and Training Orders, and even then that is a random amount. I was hoping for a lot of Upgrade Orders in particular so I could test some squad specializations, but I only ended up getting three.
And a lot of players have a lot of Troop Orders; even if you use the Academy a lot you will still end up hoarding a bunch without any use for them.
Thus, I propose that these Troop Orders may be traded in for a random order. Maybe 5 Bronze or 2 Silver per Upgrade/Training order?

I agree with this, I doubt many enemy players or even my allied ones are caring all that much about the appearance of my guys. If i’m remembering right the training order just lets you Pick which guy you get back after academy training instead of getting a random one. As I get further into the game and weapons are costing 2 silver apiece and vehicles cost 2 apiece for parts I would much rather have more silver orders rather than pretty troops.
Even if these orders train the troop automatically i’m already used to waiting and would rather do that and have silver or bronze weapon orders over that any day.
Training Orders can actually be a little useful. For example if you want to send 2 Assaulter Is and 1 Assaulter II, you can choose to keep the Assaulter II and for its better bonus stats. You can also mix different troop types and pick one you need most to keep.
Hmm, from my experience in the past few days, having just recently unlocked sniper 2, I can’t combine a tier 2 and a tier 1 in the academy anyway. There is something I don’t know, would you explain how this is done? I appreciate any info bud.
In what you said above that would be very useful as I could level my tier 2 up to a V star using tier 1s and save myself that last big hurdle of getting the V star troop. I just don’t think thats possible or I don’t know how.
Just pick any combination of troops at the Academy. The only restrictions are:
- Units must be fully leveled and at the same level
- Appropriate squad upgrades must be obtained
From your story, I think your selection was in violation of the latter.

I realized the issue, it was that the tier 2 troops hadnt had the unlock to level them up and i was assuming it was denying me because they were tier 2 and i was trying to academy them with tier 1. Just my own mistake.
