Hey all,
Certainly over the last few weeks, I’ve noticed a rather large increase of spawn camping style tactics, such as the placement of MG42s/ FLaK directly into spawn locations (City Map and farm), And the obvious Aircraft flying straight towards the spawn points and annihilating teams before they even have a chance to mobilise.
Had a match earlier where two of their BT-7s pinned us into our spawn house and we just couldn’t move, had to quit out because it just wasn’t worth wasting my time.
Is there any plan to try and limit or discourage this type of play, Such as limiting range when firing into the off limits zone for an enemy team or some form of spawn protection to stop squads being mown down the second they spawn in.

The collective farm is a really dumb map for spawn camping.
At one point I saw someone in the enemy team with an MG42 set up in their spawn, sweeping blindly through the woods across the map into our spawn and actually killing and downing quite a bit.
I couldn’t counter snipe because I couldn’t zero in on exactly where they were shooting from despite killcams and seeing it from the spawn screen. Couldn’t get close up either.

I hate the word “toxic” but yeah there is a lot of tactics people are using to attempt to depopulate the servers by being as unfun as possible.
“I’ll win if I make it so nobody wants to play with me hehe”
Unfortunately because this deals with player experience developers are going to have less visibility on this than something that they can read with back end data.
