I’m interested in almost all of the new premium content coming out, but I’m having a hard time trying to put together how much it would cost to order all of it… like I’d be happy to shell out $50 bucks to get a season pass to this game, but I feel like with all the microtransactions to all the different campaigns, it would come out to much more than that… has anyone calculated this, and is there any idea of putting together a season pass that includes all content on all campaigns, and how much that would cost?
the answer is LOADS
In the previous campaigns, if you started at level 1, and bought all the campaign levels with gold for one campaign, it would be a little over $500 when I did the math last year. That’s not including silver orders to get the new equipment or soldiers. I don’t see them offering a significant discount on that when they already offer premium time.
I haven’t tracked stats in a while, but when I was, based on the old number of campaign levels and my average xp stats, it would take 228 hours to grind the Soviet campaign in Moscow, or 68 hours with premium time. I’d say that in the unlikely event they sell some kind of campaign-boost season-pass megapack, it would cost ~$150-250, on top of premium time, and there wouldn’t be a lot of point to veteran players buying it. It might happen, with the goal of selling it to new players grinding through the recently made awful new player experience.
I’m not even talking about gold, I’m just talking about the premium content
You can’t really purchase all of the premium content separately for the other campains.
You can’t really replicate the 4x XP boost, but you can buy campaign levels.
You can’t really replicate pre-max soldiers and equipment, full stop.
