The PPS42 in Stalingrad is a beast. It is accurate as hell and it is fun to use it.

But in stalingrad really shine probably because the new recoil system or the new dispersion @Shiivex said is really like an MKB on steroid, otherwise i feel the ppsh41 has lost a lot of his long range performance 
and this put player to choose to be all rounder (pps42) cqc master (ppsh41) i very love this kind choice make old equipment still useful, hope this change can come fast in other campaigns with even more new thing

In no right mind I would use them in berlin for example. But in Stalingrad in no right mind I would pick a ppsh over ir.

Why you can even get a feeling of PPS…
It is just a intermediate SMG.
No one would stop and keep use this. Especially with the pack. Also dont waste much silver for most intermediate weapons. Save for the last ones.
It’s not even close to mkb with its 0.87 dispersion
i would, in fact my main assaulter squad in berlin is mostly pps and my tankers also have pps even though i have the ppsh(box) unlocked

Sure this gun won’t be as well appreciated as it was in real life but this is actually a nice gun despite I prefer PPSh over PPS because of drum mag.

They get the drum fed PPSH41, while people is talking about 35 rds PPS42 here.
