Because, FG42 is unlocked via engineers and radio squads. While grenade launcher are unlocked via rifle squads.
Though I’m gonna talk about FG42/FG42II and its competitors balance later in another thread.

Fg42 should be equipable only for engineers to follow the rule.

Fg 42. A gun reserved for only paratroopers. Enlisted give it to the whole army

Really Annoying in all cases tbh, I only give the M1c to engnieers, tank hunters radios etc but can’t give them the M1C with grenade launcher because that ““would break the game””

Well, just wait and see. Because there will be FG42II infantry version. That will break the game even harder.

Dont forget the bulgarian and the romanian they too want a piece of Greece

Why? Fg42 II is already limited to snipers, I don’t see why devs would chnge this.

To be honest, I think the top rifle of the infantry should stay at the semi-automatic level. Just like Moscow, the top rifles of both sides are still in a relatively balanced state. (Compared to AVS36 against FG42 and M2 carbine against FG42) At least there should be no monsters like FG42
