8CM mortars are downgrades of the 50mm ones as they have less anti infantry performance and tanker has to be literally brain dead to not move after the first mortar.

You can be lucky enough to kill a tank with the first hit. Chance maybe lower than an arty call hit a plane, as I experienced this twice on Tu-2S but never saw an 8cm mortar kill a tank unless in videos.
