Tokyo Arsenal will get moved to BR V, but the PPSh-41 lowered to BR IV...?

Well, we have reached another big-brain DF moment:

So, in the same update that we’re getting a Tokyo Arsenal BR nerf, we’re also going to get a PPSh-41 BR buff…?

Was this nessesary…? Doesn’t the Soviets already have tons of BR IV SMG options…? Will it still have the planned reload-speed buff on top of everything? How can you justify uptiering the Tokyo Arsenal with this drastic change done at the same time…?

Oh that’s actually an oopsie on my part
I read PPSh-45, not 41(since this was an older topic before the 45 was changed to br 4)
the regular PPSh-41 isn’t changing

Thanks for the quick response, you can close this as resolved then. :hearts:

Glad this was settled. We are human, we err.

It would also be great to give a reload buff to Japan’s prototype Tokyo weapons. However, I’d rather say that this so-called reload speed boost for the drum magazines is nothing more than a reversion to its original stats. It used to be that fast in the first place, only to be nerfed later on. Now it’s just been adjusted back to its former level, and it might not even measure up to how it was before. This time, to promote the sales of the Suomi squad, they deliberately increased the Suomi’s damage to 6.8. If you ask me, the Soviet PPSh should at least get a bump up to 6.7. What’s more, Germany’s early captured Soviet PPSh uses Mauser rounds—logically speaking, its damage should be even higher.
