To the Game Officials and Forum Moderators: A Joint Statement Regarding Unfair Penalties and Mechanism Changes

And boring…lol

Since adding the custom mode, you can farm like this for 2.5 to 5 hours. It was just that there were no veteran chests (silver) at that time. After that, the developer only modified the intrusion mode, reducing the total duration to 100 to 150 minutes? . However, the total duration of the complete train mode and Conquest mode has not been revised.
The mechanism of increasing players’ earnings based on the duration of battles has been in place since the server was opened in 2021.
But, indeed, a five-hour battle is just too much for the hemorrhoids to burst.
And boring

That too.

But that pretty little letter is really cute!

I believe the correct term for it is “shameless”.

I remember a few years ago, something like that happened with custom matches. People abused like what is shown here. Devs removed the campaign progress gained this way as sole punishment.

I see this as recidivism, knowing full well what the perpetrators were doing

How is it fair to be banned for something that you didn’t know was ban worthy to begin with? Is there any kind of statement out there that says you cant use boosters in custom games and play a “rigged” game. I most definitely would not have thought this was ban worthy. It’s no where close to modding/cheating/hacking official games. The punishment should of been reverting their accounts back to before they did it, meaning taking away all the experience/silver/stuff bought with said silver. Not an out right ban. This part of the situation is most disturbing.

This is recidivism.

I don’t know if you were there back then, but something similar happened once.

That time progression was reverted.

Now it’s the second time…

Those who did it, 100% knew it was wrong.
(They’re old players. They were there when it happened the first time.)

Had to look that word up lol. Have never heard anyone use that word…ever. You must watch a lot of law and order.

Do we know these are the same people? Just because you were around then doesn’t mean you saw their post about that kind of thing not being okay.

I really started playing just after pacific was added. Didn’t know that was a thing that happened, and wasn’t aware you could get campaign experience from customs

They say it mostly depends on whom is your social circle made of… it’s a common word

I said that:

They may or may not have done it the first time. But they were there when it first happened, so they know. (Those in the lil picture I mean)

How can someone’s own stupidity be an argument at all?

It’s either stupidity or intellectual dishonesty. They quite obviously took advantage of exploits in the game. And now they should deal with consequences.

I dont know - isnt it more like the devs fault for allowing xp gain in modified games to begin with?

Like when its technically possible to “farm” I dont see how this is an exploit.

I still haven’t quite understood what all this hustle is about, though I personally dont play custom games… so can someone explain pls in more detail what was even done to deserve ban? Also, “demanding justice” is a crazy claim when no one even knows how long these players have been banned.

Are we talking about permanent bans for farming AI in custom games? On the first view this seems very overreaching.

Yeah, artificially prolonging specific matches with active boosters with the clear intention of gaining a huge amount of resources is definitely not an exploit.

You’re acting as if these matches in customs were played in a normal way.

But they clearly weren’t.

I don’t understand why so many people deliberately defend exploiters, only making up nonsensical, intellectually dishonest arguments.

Punishment for those individuals is justified.

How is that an exploit when its possible within the options of the game, thats like saying playing in 4 man groups in favourable factions and often winning BRs is exploiting - because one would get more exp and silver than playing solo.

I really dont think that was the whole story here.

Lmao, no. Totally different things.

When you are in stack, you are still playing the game the way it was intended.

It is quite obvious it was not intended by devs that people will be artificially prolonging matches in customs to farm comically huge amount of recourses trough boosters.
They haven’t played those matches in customs in legitimate way. That’s the part where the exploitation is quite obvious and deliberate. The intended outcome is very clear.

Just like and Dutch VPN was an obvious exploit. Even though it was a part of the game.

Stop being intellectually dishonest, it’s actually insulting.

Isn’t that the condition for exploit? If it is not within the option of the game that is called cheating.

Then be insulted, when its a normal game option to gain XP in custom matches + when the game simply lets you push and play for an unlimited time… its literally just min maxing - not exploiting.

All that being, I want to clarify that I dont play custom games - and I am only speculating here, which is why I asked if someone knows in detail what they have done, how much silver they have farmed, and for how long they have been banned.

  • its not my responsibility to judge or question those bans, ( im no dev) but still I’d just like to get the full picture before jumping to conclusions.

I was wondering why those names for those 8 disconected players were so familiar to me, turns out he had used them to boost his opinon in polls and got called out for it just recently so the deserters are most likely his aswell.

I guess you weren’t around for the halo 2 days. In my mind it’s a given customs will not be played as a normal match.

This particular scenario isn’t really common sense though, and if you’re going to ban people you need to make sure the potential reasons for getting banned are known and well described. To me, an exploit is more of using a glitch or bug to win. That’s not really what happened here. I don’t think this would meet the terms of exploitation.

Customs are customs. You’re literally given the power to do what you want in there

Not sure, i assumed a permanent ban because it was an outlisted news post, which i thought have always been perma bans. Is also kind of the reason i don’t agree with all this.
